"I read some reviews before ordering this boot and most of them said that it runs narrow in the calf. Well, not for me. I made sure I didin't order the wide calf. Anyways, I will keep the boots because the calf gap isn't drastic. Otherwise it is a beautiful boot: simple, classic and will go with any outfit."

Fantastic Boot with Orthotics!
"I have owned these boots for 3 seasons and have only had the heel replaced once. These are amazing boots that work well with prescription orthotics! I wear a size 11 but these in a size 12 are perfect fit with the orthotics. I've come back another season to buy them in chocolate brown! I already own the black and cognac"

Gorgeous but really uncomfortable
"I have a high in-step and these boots were almost impossible to get on & were super uncomfortable. They were also a little short - I usually wear a 9.5 in boots, but I ordered these in 10s & they were a tad too short to my liking. I will say that the light brown leather is GORGEOUS and I really wish these boots worked for me, because I'd love to have them in my closet."

Was excited but...
"I was so excited to get these boots. I loved that these boots didn't have cheap buckles or straps. The leather is a decent quality for the price, it folds quite a lot with wear. They are very comfortable. I gave these boots two stars because after only a few weeks of light wear, the heel broke completely off. Didn't expect such low quality from Ciao Bella, other shoes I have from them have lasted years."

So great!
"I absolutely love these boots! They fit perfectly true to size, and even though I tried the wide calf version first, these were much better. I have a 15" calf and these boots fit snugly, but they are real leather, they will stretch over time! Definitely a worthwhile purchase, would recommend!"

Cute but poor quality heels

"The boots looked as I expected them to, the color was great, and although I do agree with other reviewers about the ankles being a little bunchy they looked good, were super comfortable, and were a great price. I noticed the heels wearing down slightly after a couple weeks, but thought nothing of it, until the entire bottom of the heel fell off. My previous pair of boots that I bought these to replace lasted me several years, and are still completely intact, so a heel falling off within a month of wear is not really acceptable. I will be returning these and purchasing a different pair of boots."

"The boots in brown are very dark. I thought maybe they would be a bit lighter than the picture because that tends to happen when I order shoes but this was not the case. They fit very well, just a bit tight around the ankle where it rubs but I know they'd loosen up after a while. Haven't decided if I'm keeping them."

"Was not a fan of the way these boots looked. I got them in the cognac and the leather looked cheap. The calf was also a bit wide for me. Returned it."

The Perfect Ones!
"I've been looking for a good pair of boots for a couple years now. I've tried on tons in the store, looked at hundreds online, but just fell in love with the darker browns ones on here. Took a huge risk buying them online cause I usually don't do that but it was worth it now that I've had them for a couple months and know how amazing they are. First thing, they are insanely comfortable and It means something when I say that because I'm a elementary school teacher and I wear them for 12 hours a day on my feet with 1st graders. They're actually my most comfy pair of shoes. The fit is comfortable as well, not loose but not tight, and there's an elastic band up top for if you have a wider calf OR if you want to stick your pants into the boots. I loved these boots so much a bought an extra pair in case I wear these ones out. Definitely would recommend them, worth the money for sure!"

Nice, but not great.
"Lovely boot, and fits great, although it is a tad bit narrow and I am a true medium fit. However, the leather may stretch with wear. Length is good - I vary between a 10 and 11 and the 10 is perfect. My only concern is the stiffness of the leather and gap around the leg. I prefer a softer boot for comfort and one that fits my small calves better. This one is too awkward especially if worn with pants. Will most likely return to find something that works better for me."

Not what I had hoped for
"The color was a little more orange than what I was looking for. Also, the fact that they went up on the outside bothered me. Would have liked them better if they were straight across. Fit was good overall. True to size. Returning."

"These boots are going to be cute "everyday" boots for me. I read some of the other reviews before purchasing these in black and was a little anxious to see if the calf was going to be too tight--they are comfortable, however, I will probably only be able to wear them with tights--I highly doubt I am going to be able to stick a pair of skinny jeans down into these boots.I also have a bit of a wide foot and had a little trouble getting these on at first--they do seem to fit true to size though. Overall, they are a pretty good pair of shoes!"

Perfect for Whenever
"These boots are fantastic. I was looking for fall boots for so long and I finally found them! They're perfect fit and super comfy (at first I was getting blisters on my heels but that's totally natural for new shoes. Now they're broken in). Not to mention the price for good boots is usually around $150-$200. These are fantastic. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants good boots."

Gorgeous, just order a half size up
"I ordered a 8 and it was a little tight on my feet. I in no way have wide feet. I ordered 8.5s and they are great. My friend has an older version of these and they do look a little new and shiny now, but hers are scuffed so perfectly, they have a nice worn look after 2 years. I love them, and they are not tight on my calves and even if they were slightly tight, it has a insert to give you a little lee way. I love them. Great cognac boots."

"This is my first time ordering (riding) boots so I wasn't sure what to expect. After looking at people's reviews, I decided to just stick with ordering my normal shoe size 6.
The boots fit my feet and I was able to zip them up, but it was pretty tight on my calves (my calves aren't that big either). They also make my feet look bigger than they are. I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I tried them on, the calves of the boots were quite wrinkled when standing straight. That made it look not as appealing as it does in the picture on here. I returned them. I don’t think I would repurchase in the wide calf size."
