Still uncomfortable - 1 yr later
" So a year later of "breaking these in" - they are still very uncomfortable. As other have said, the calf circ is small. and so it makes the boot slide a little lower. Then the leather scrunches at the bottom near the ankle, rubbing on my heel. Also, the sizing is significantly larger than it states. I normally wear a 7, and a 7 in these, my foot is sliding all over the place, and i feel like i have clown shoes on. Style-wise, theyre fine. Nice generic boots, but definitely not for "walking around"! "

Amazing - I want MORE!
" These boots definately exceeded my expectations with such mixed reviews on the website. I bought them in the Chocolate color. I will admit at first and in a dark room they may look close to black, but as any boot owner knows, they will adjust over time and get a bit lighter. I love the color overall. I am a 7.5 and these boots are true to size. I have a narrow foot and at first I thought they were a little snug on my feet, but a quick fix was having a family member with a slightly wider foot than mine, wear them for about <5 minutes. They are the MOST comfortable riding boot I have ever owned. The height is perfect and the calf is not too tight on me (even with skinny jeans on). I have a 13" calf but I think if you have a 14" or 15"calf, you should probably get the wide. I am 5'5" about 125 and they look amazing with jeans and I haven't tried with a skirt yet but I'm sure they will be so cute! LOVE LOVE LOVE "

So So Black Boots
" These black boots are comfortable and good for everyday use. The leather is not as nice as I had hoped for, it almost looks like pleather (fake leather). For the price it is almost expected. "
