superb
" just got the brown of this boot at the store n it was on sale yeahhhhhhhh. It feels so cool inside and d leather is great.I have being looking for good boots that can fit over my wide calf n it was worth all the search. i got mine a size bigger n it is just fine for me since i have wider feet. "

Classic and Stylish
" I usually never take the time to write a review about a product, but after searching the ENTIRE (and I mean entire) web for a good pair of classy boots that would go with everything, were big enough in the calves, and the right price I came across these and felt I should leave a review.
SIZE: After reading many of the reviews on DSW that said to order about a whole size bigger because these run small, I went ahead and ordered a 6.5. I typically wear a 5.5/6 so I figured this should be plenty big. Well, they were. They are almost too big. I suggest order a .5 size bigger at the most! I have a pair of pull on boots in a 6.5 and they fit perfect, but these in a 6.5 are rather big. I'm not returning for .5 a size because with thick boot socks they are perfect. Hopefully they don't stretch too much in the ankle area.
COLOR: I debated this for the longest time. I really wanted a nice pair of dark brown leather boots, but I also wanted the cognac color becasue I feel like it goes better with black and I wear lots of black leggings. I went ahead and ordered the Cognac and that was a good choice. It's a beautiful color.
CALF: I have athletic calves because I was a figure skater. I have always had the HARDEST time finding boots with a big enough calf that allows me to walk, be comfortable, and tuck in jeans or leggings and socks. I went ahead and ordered the wide calf. It is a bit wider than I imagined- even with jeans tucked in... I can still get a bit of my hand in the boots. I figure that's okay though becasue the regular ones probably wouldn't have allowed jeans in and been able to zip the boots.
QUALITY: These boots are a great quality. The leather smells wonderful, and it's a good quality The boots are gorgeous. So simple and perfect for everyday wear (dress up or casual). I don't think you'll be disappointed in the quality.
OVERALL: Great boots for a way great price. The Cognac is beautiful, I still want to get some dark brown ones though. Perhaps the same style. The wide calf is definitly wide enough for athletic and musclar calves. Order your normal size, maybe .5 a size bigger if you feel like you want to... just know you'll be wearing a thick sock with them. "

Was hoping to be perfect.
" I've been waiting to buy these shoes for a long time. I had bought a riding boot before but it wasn't wide enough. When I saw these I thought it would be perfect. Unfortunately it wasn't wide enough for my leg. But that's not the boot's fault. Another problem was that I saw it ran narrow so I bought a slightly bigger size and it made my feet look huge. If I would have bought a smaller size my foot wouldn't have been able to fit. The shoes had to be returned. "

Nice Boot
" Even though I had to return them because they were not wide enough for my calf i still loved the feel and style of them ... wish they would have fit! "
