Sloppy fit
" Delivery: very fast; 4 days.
Appearance: the look of the shoe is a standard, office pants shoe, nothing remarkable in the design, could use some design touches so that it isn't all uniform. I ordered the Red which is actually a very lovely wine color that looks great with black and taupe. The toe is completely rounded and, in my opinion, makes the foot look bigger than it is. A modified, slightly round toe or square toe would look better, but that is strictly an appearance issue, not related to comfort.
Fit: Lousy. I'm a consistent size 7 and I wear a borderline Medium/Wide and I usually order a wide because I don't like my toes to be squished. I've been hit and miss with Clarks. Both Clarks models May Poppy and Sugar Sky seem to be cut wrong because they widen along the sides towards the heel and then bump out to a point at the back of the heel so much that you can stick a finger or two in the gap. This means they pop right off your foot when you walk! My Clarks Wish Trance and Levee Bank models don't have this issue and fit perfectly, roomy but still snug and cradled in the toe box and narrowing to the heel with no pointed end. It's a shame that the May Poppy is so sloppy wide because it does have a bouncy, comfy walking sole that would be great to wear on a trip or on an all-day shopping excursion, plus an ideal 2" shaped block but not tapered heel, so it looks sharper than a standard block but is still perfectly stable, which is important to me when walking.
Bottom line: If you're a standard Medium width and don't need the extra toe room, I'd say order a 1/2 size down in the length and you should be fine. "

Practical and comfortable
" I bought these in red/burgundy. The color was not what I anticipated - much deeper red but for work I guess very appropriate.Great work shoes for a professional appearance with a touch of color. This red looks great with khaki. "

Very Comfortable
" This is the first time I purchased shoes online. It was a pleasant experience and these shoes are the best and most comfortable shoes! They were a perfect fit and I'm able to wear them all day without any pain or discomfort in my feet. I just went online and ordered another pair. "

Super Comfy!
" Clarks have always been super-comfy and I wasn't disappointed on this purchase either! The heel does tend to slip out of the shoe often...perhaps get 1/2 size smaller...but other than that, AWESOME. Oh, and I got the red color - they are beautiful. "
