Not so great
" I loved these when I first got them. I need boots I can wear everyday, and these are not them. I have worn them almost everyday for about 5 months, and the heel is pretty much gone. The soles wore away so quickly and unevenly. Today, one of the soles cracked and now I have a puddle in my shoe. The "block heel" is synthetic and squishy. It is not solid inside, and as the sole wore away, so did the heel. They are also made of the thinnest leather I have ever seen. Bottom line, these are very cute, but poorly made. If you are just buying them for looks, go for it! But, if you need boots that will last, these aren't what you are looking for. I wish I'd saved the money I spent on these and bought a better, perhaps more expensive pair. "

Very conflicted
" I am very conflicted. I love the look of this boot. I didn't want a boring riding boot, and the ruffles combined with the combat style make for a very unique and visually appealing boot. Now for the cons...the leather is not of very high quality, and it is very thin (I am not usually picky about this, but these just feel cheap). The fit is not ideal. They run long in the foot area but very narrow in the calf (I have average calves and have never had a problem). I could barely zip these up the first time. They have stretched out and are fine now, but it is still hard to wear anything except a true skinny jean with them. They are also hard in the heel and toe areas. So...I wouldn't necessary recommend them but I couldn't bring myself to send these back because I liked the look. "

Crown Vintage Tawny Riding Boot
" Although the style is very cute, they are not as nice as a full leather boot. The upper and the ruffle seem rather flimsy. They are not cheap looking, just not high quality like a Steve Madden leather boot. "

the envy of all you see
" These are adorable and fit to size perfectly (although it's a bit snug getting my heel in, but once on they're quite comfy). They look like they would be at home while riding a horse. "
