Not for a night on the town but...
"That is what I read in the other reviews but it was still too cute not to get. I have an office job so its not horrible but they are not for walking out on the town, that is for sure. Thanks to rewards certificates I got them for 19.99 soooo does comfort matter at that point? They look AMAZING on and I get compliments every time I wear them. They are a more gray/ taupe than what is pictured but it is actually prettier."

Cute but horrible fit
"Love Steve Madden shoes but this one is bust. Don't know what happened with the fit but this platform was very uncomfortable. The design of the boot is what caught my attention but I should of paid attention to the reviews. It gets a star for the design only."

My favorite booties!
"I love Steve Madden, their shoes are just amazing quality and the fit is almost always great. These booties are so gorgeous, and pretty comfy. Although they're on the tall side, the platform gives you the support you need to walk in them comfortably. I wear them for work sometimes and walk in them all day, and at the end of the day my feet aren't killing me as with other tall booties. Love them!"

Good boot for the price...

"I purchased this boot in the black leather and taupe suede. First, the heel height is 6" not 5" like the description says. The taupe boot is a lighter shade of taupe than pictured (which I happen to like more). The other reviews mention the angle being too steep and uncomfortable. I personally don't feel it's something you can't adjust to. The shaft of the boot is a little stiff on the front part of your ankle when you sit down. However, the boot is made of real leather and will loosen up. Overall, I'd buy this boot again especially for the price."

Very Cute!!
"I just loved these booties when I saw them!! They are very cute and stylish! They run true to size, but feel a little strangely shaped inside - maybe that's just me. It's not going to keep me from wearing them though! I think they will be fine once they are broken in and maybe it is just because they are still new and stiff."

SM Kara Bootie I Tried to Love You
"The Kara Bootie is Absolutely Fabulous...if you Never have to walk more than 10 steps. I read the reviews before I purchased, but decided to buy anyway since I wear 5" and above ALL the time...They are so beautiful, and there is a hidden platform, but the incline is extremely uncomfortable and adds unnecessary pressure to the ball of your foot even with a gel insert...I hated to return them, but it was definitely a Love lost...Redesign them and I will buy again...I love SM, but these missed the quality check."

Terrible
"Gorgeous boots! Bought them in 3 colors. Unfortunately had to return them. The most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on. I couldnt wear them for over a minute before wanting to tear them off my feet. I always wear 4-5 inch heels. These were just made wrong. They are stiff, no padding and the arch is wrong so you have zero support. I was so sad to return them."

looks great but fits badly...
"These boots are beautiful but the fit is horrible. I love SM shoes and they are usually true to size but these were a little snug. It was almost impossible to walk in them bc the top front of the boot would cut off the circulation to my foot. the heel was also very high. I have many shoes the same heel height but these were very uncomfortable to walk in... wish they fit better, i had to send them back..."
