"I expected a better quality boot however, upon arriving from my online purchase, I was disappointed on the look & feel of the leather. It was extremely bulky around the ankle & didn't look very attractive & didn't feel comfortable once put on, either."

Awesome Casual Boot
"This boot looked really great online, but I was even more impressed when I opened the box. It has a casual look but could also be worn for a more dressed up look too. The zipper and other details really make the boot. Just a heads up, the boot looks actually dark grey up the boot shaft and black everywhere else (that may matter to some buyers). I thought the contrast was tasteful. This boot is an overall winner especially at the sale price."

Tough call
"FYI: I wear a size 9 usually but because of a review I read I ordered a half size down and they fit perfectly. They don't have tread for WI winters. The eyelets are not as shinny as they look in the picture-which I like about them, that the metal isn't too shinny. They are nice and warm, nice leather, nice zipper, nice details...
So, I measured my calves, 14 inches around precisely. Ok, so the boot is really snug on me at the top- which is near the 'belly' of my calf, there isn't room for jeans or thick socks. I was thinking about stretching them... Yes, they can be worn partially unzipped, but I don't like that style idea too much. What really really REALLY bothers me is that the quality is SO NICE, and the style is AWESOME and the structure of the foot is great- I really like the toe box and quasi-militaristic look, BUT they make my legs look visually 5 inches thick all the way to my foot and I really have more shape than that!!! It takes the thickest part of my leg and extends it down to my foot like I have edema or something, and I don't. I am not sure if I am returning them or not. Tough call!
If there was more shape through the ankle I'd give it 5 starts and stretch out the top!"
