My First Ruby Red Shoes!
" Hard to believe, but while I could be a member of the Red Hat Society, I had never owned a pair of red shoes. So imagine how excited I was to find these in our local DSW! I planned to wear them to a wedding just a few weeks later. However, we have a puppy.... Needless to say, I was heartbroken to come home one evening to find my beloved shoes in tiny pieces. :(
I was disconsolate. My DH, sensing that these weren't just any old shoes, snuck into the trash, found the make and moel number of the shoes, and looked them up online. Sure enough, he found them at dsw.com! He even paid for expedited shipping to be sure they arrived before the wedding!
And isn't it fitting that they're called "Barkers?" :)
