Not what I expected
"The shoe was very stiff when I first purchased it. The lining is almost like plastic, so this is not a shoe you can skip the socks on."

Cuter Than Pictured
"I brought these shoes in-store. If you've only seen these shoes online, you probably don't have a good idea what they look like. They're a tastefully bright, sparkly gold, which I think is very pretty and appealing. They are not overwhelmingly bright, and look good with basically anything. I always get a lot of compliments on them when I wear them.
As for comfort, I have had these shoes for several months, but time has done nothing to improve the comfort. They're not uncomfortable, but I would not say they are above average comfort. I need to wear footie socks with these to be sure I don't scrape the back of my heel. Otherwise, I haven't had any comfort issues.
Finally, I tend to trip and scrape my toes a lot. On the first wear, I did just that with these shoes. This caused a small amount of the gold mesh to fray on the toe. This didn't cause the rest of the shoe to do the same, which was nice. Overall, the look of these shoes outweighs the negatives. I would definitely buy these again, and I dread then I have to say goodbye to these, as they've become a staple!"

Pretty but uncomfortable
"I liked these shoes because they looked so stylishly casual. I also bought them because I needed a comfortable flat shoe to walk around the city that I could wear to work. I put them on in the morning and walked to work and was comfortable, but by the time the day was over and I could barely walk home, I was in so much pain. The back of the shoe had digged in so deeply into my skin, it was very unpleasant and created blisters. I am hoping that this is the type of shoe that just needs to be "broken in" and will someday be my favoirte shoes!"

disappointing
"These flats run wide and are very stiff. They are much more sparkly gold than they appear online. I returned these immediately."
