Not what I expected
" I really wanted to love these boots. I have been looking for a good pair of classic brown riding boots, but these did not live up to my expectations despite the positive reviews.
First, the color is not as dark or rich of a brown in the picture. It has more of a burnt siena color to it.
Second, the calf is wide, even though I ordered the regular cafe size. It looks awkward with a pair of skinny jeans, almost like a pair of chunky rainboots.
Last, the leather looks too stiff and almost fake. I'm not sure if it needs to broken into or what, but it's just not as sleek as it appears in the picture. "

Disappointed
" This boot has a cheap feel and fits very odd around the ankle. It seems as if the ankle part of the boot is twice the size that i ordered. I did not order the wide calf boots, just the regular ones and they did not fit properly at all. I am very disappointed and will be returning these almost as soon as I received them. "

" I LOVE THESE BOOTS! They are even nicer than the picture. I ordered the brown pair and the color is perfect. What I am most pleased with is the boot shaft. I have large, muscular calves (16 1/2 inches) and these fit perfectly. The height is great too. I am 5"7' and they hit just below my knee. I highly recommend them! "

Great boots
" I've been looking for the right riding boot for months and these are the winners! And I got to use my reward points so I got them $30 off! First I have to say beware of the color - In the photos it looks like more of a chocolate brown but in real life it is a lighter, orangey brown. I actually wanted a lighter boot but if you are looking for dark brown this might not be your boot. The size is true, I don't feel any pinching when I walk, the bottoms actually have grip unlike many fashion boots, I have short legs and the top of the boot hits right at the bottom of my knee cap standing. "
