"Great looking shoe, so sad that I had to return it. While Steve Madden has typically been true to size in my experience, this shoe was too narrow and too tight. Bummer."

So What...
"If these babies will give me a blister after wearing them...they are WELL WORTH IT!
These are a MUST have for the Spring/Fall months. I bought them in the "Teal" colorway, and the color is just...WOW! So vibrant and beautiful. It's much more of a jewel-tone than the photo show. Even my phone camera didn't pick up the brilliant hue! It really is a stunner.
The suede is a great quality, so I'm expecting that they will break in pretty easily, and may even be somewhat comfy. I've been wearing them around my house to try and make the process a bit easier, but honestly you can't expect much in the way of comfort with a 4" heel, so I won't hold my breath.
Still I will definitely be wearing these beauties OUT...."

Oh Beautiful Pain!

"I had been looking for a beautiful pair of burgundy heels, and to tell you the truth I am not a fan of pointed toe shoes but I fell in love with these at the store. I wore them for a short outing with my friend (a few hours) where I was sitting for most of the time but, like a previous poster, my feet were throbbing by the time I got home.
I'm casually wearing these around the house, and they do seem to be stretching out and getting more comfortable. Unfortunately they still pinch my toes a little and the dramatic heel can be a bit much for me. These are beautiful shoes, but definitely try these on in the store before you buy and stretch them out a bit before a work day or party. Also, some might like to know that they are more of a washed out burgundy than the picture on the site (my pictures were not edited) but I had no idea of this and still love the color I got."

True to size but hurts a bit
"These are pretty, but I opted to get another pair of maroon in patent leather through the Tahari Colette (which runs a little long, btw). The SM Carli is pretty but quite arched. Not the comfiest of shoes."

"The color on these was dingy. They're a 4inch with no support and and they pinch across the bridge of the foot. Nine west has a version that is better quality."

Play through the pain.
"I have been looking for a really gorgeous pair of suede shoes for a while now, but couldn't find any that really stuck out. I saw these in the store and had to have them! When I tried it on I noticed it was very narrow on my medium width feet, but I figured I get them anyway because all shoes stretch out eventually... right?
The first time I wore them was for about 4 hours and when I took them off my feet were throbbing -- I quickly dismissed it though because pain usually comes with breaking in a new pair of leather/suede shoes. I wore them again the following day for an entire 10 hour work day. I could definitely feel the pressure points from the day before, but the pain was substantially lessened.
I'm giving my feet the day off today, but I feel that with a few more days of stretching the leather out they should be ok. Beauty hurts!!"

Pretty and Feminine
"This shoe was not the one pictured. Which was a great disappointment. This the first time I ordered a product and it was clearly not what I wanted initially. However I decide to keep the shoe because of its unique color, it will be enhancement to my shoe collection. True to Steve Madden design their shoes run narrow which is plus for me since I have small narrow feet. I intend to wear this shoe with pencil skirts and capri pants. This is a feminine pretty shoe. Four stars because it was not the shoe pictured."

We'll see...
"Before I purchased these I had gotten the ones with the touch of neon pink on the heel and let me tell you... those were painful and sadly they had to go back to the store. So when I saw them in suede I decided to give them a try again, this time ordering a size up. When I got them, they ended up being too big, so I risked it and order a size down again. Now this time the fit is perfect! They are a little hard and I'm scared because of all the reviews I've been reading saying they are too uncomfortable and impossible to wear.
I'm going to give them a try, because they are really gorgeus and the teal colour is just perfect! I can't wait to wear them with skinny jeans!
I don't know if I would completely recommend them yet because I haven't worn them long enough to know..."

Beautiful but UNCOMFORTABLE
"I'm used to very tall and sometimes uncomfortable shoes, but something about these is really painful. The leather is unflexible and really hurts my smallest toe. It's an absolutely gorgeous shoe, but definitely not worth the pain - I was limping around awkwardly within 5 minutes of putting them on! Sadly they're going back."
