Painfully uncomfortable
" I tried with this shoe. I really did. It comes either to large to the point your foot is falling out of the shoe, or too tight to the point if you were it for prolonged periods or for walking it is extremely painful. I chose a half size under like most recommend, because my regular size was too large and would slip out. But this shoe compresses my toes and after a few days usage my feet are in extreme pains. Bad design, wouldn't recommend, "

Nice Boot, Runs Long, Little Arch Support
" I recently ordered the Clarks Chukka in dark brown. I like the look of the boot a lot. The leather is nice quality and seems like it should hold up pretty well. The comfort of the boot is only so-so. I would say the boot runs long and has minimal arch support. I am hopeful that it will get more comfortable as I wear it. "

Good not great
" I had these before in the dark brown and think that color looks much better than the lighter brown. I must have had a size 9.5 before, because that fit well even though I usually wear a size 10, even in other Clarks boots. The 10 was very loose and uncomfortable, and the back was stiff and hurt where it rubbed against my leg. Insoles helped but I sold these after a month. The smaller size fit better, and the darker leather felt softer too. "

A timeless yet trendy pair
" I wanted a pair of shoes that I could wear in between seasons. Something okay for both the warmer and colder weather. Clarks Chukka boot fits the build. I own the brown and it looks good. It's comfortable for day-to-day wear. "
