" I adore these shoes, but they are definitely not the most comfortable shoe ever made. The top edge hits right below the ankle bone, which I imagine would rub uncomfortably after long wear. They definitely run small...I sized up a half size. Also, as one reviewer said, it seemed challenging at first to get my foot in, but I found that the laces can be undone, thus loosening the entire top of the shoe and making it MUCH easier to get on. The inside of the shoe is kind of a weird texture, I got used to it quickly but it was a surprise at first. Its sort of rough.
All in all, super super beautiful shoe, but limited on the comfort level. Would recommend as an occasions shoe, but not for everyday wear. "

" Love love love this shoe! I get tons of compliments on it. The one complaint I have is that it takes some effort to get it on because of the fold on the top, but when it's on I love it and its pretty comfortable. "

museum piece
" This is a beautiful shoe...but it does not run anywhere near true to size. I read the reviews before purchasing them so I was prepared for them to run small and I purchased a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. I could not even get my foot in the shoe. it is also extremely narrow. "

Torturous to wear!!!!!!
" This company makes the most visually beautiful and creative shoes, but I felt like I was stepping into a bear trap just trying to get into them. They are horrifically uncomfortable. I didn't even bother to try on the second shoe. Anyone who tries to wear these for a full day will probably end up hobbled. So very sad when manufacturers are blatantly neglectful of the tiniest bit of comfort. "
