"Beautiful boots. Fit my athletic calves perfectly. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they are a little bit loose in the ankle, causing some slouching. I have the Audrey Brooke Taylor Wide Calf in brown, and they are a perfect fit in the calves and ankles."

"Love these boots! I have wide calves and these and the AB Tayler were the only ones that is true to size. I am still able to fit leggings and skinny jeans in these. The leather is great quality for the price I paid. Love love love these!! Will be wearing it with everything this winter."

Great quality boots that is truly wide calf
"I just got these boots a week ago and I LOVE them. The leather is luxurious and soft, and these are definitely warm. Zipper is of good quality, and the backing piece to the zipper is large and sturdy enough so cute stockings will not get caught when zipping up the boots . There are more than enough breathing room for my large calves in these boots, even with jeans tucked in.
However, I do wish that the soles on these are better/sturdier; they seem like they would get worn out pretty easily. It does take a couple of days to break into these boots, but they are very comfortable after a few wears. Overall, totally worth it! Money well spent!"

Very comfy, wide calf boots
"I have trouble finding boots wide enough to fit my calves and comfortable enough for me not to complain. These boots work for both. I live in NYC and am able to walk everywhere in them. The calf are is a little wider than I would actually like, but I have received many compliments on them. Just don't expect them to be tight if you have a 16' calf - probably tighter for a 17"."

Too wide!
"These boots do not look like the picture here. I think the picture on the website is of the regular calf width boot because in person they look nothing like that. The calf is probably about 17 inches and just way too wide for my wider calf. The foot bed part of the boot felt a little on the narrow side. The boot is supposed to be leather but it didn't really feel like it to me."

Great style, but wide calf is VERY WIDE
"I love the style of the boot, but was very disappointed to find that I could easily fit my ENTIRE hand down in the boot once I had them on. I've order 'wide calf' boots from DSW before and I really wasn't expecting them to be that wide."

I have incredible difficulty finding wide calf boots to fit (my right calf is 16" and my left is 16.5"), and it was such a relief to find these. The leather is soft and the shoe seems to be of good quality. The actual footbed is true to size and comfortable. Also, the shaft goes up high enough to not cut off the calf at an awkward spot, causing it to emphasize its, ahem, circumference. Oh, also I can wear these with pants!! And they look far from being sausage casings.

Finally a TRUE Wide Calf boot
"I have searched many stores and tried on many riding boots that claim to have a wide enough shaft and circumference for my 16 in calf just to be disappointed. Now I have finally found a boot that lives up to their "Wide Calf" claim! I can wear these boots with my jeans tucked in and still have breathing room, unlike so many others where I was fighting for the zipper to go up my leg. Needs to be broken in but very satisfied!"

LOVE LOVE these boots
"I have "thicker" calves and constantly have a hard time finding boots that fit. These are GREAT! They fit over my calves with jeans tucked in them! I have walked the streest of NYC in them so they not only fit but are VERY comfortable!!"
