great for larger calfs
"I just got these boots and i really like them. They easily zipped over my calf with jeans on, something that has never happened. they are almost a bit lose. I got the 7, might have been able to get away with 6.5
If you have bigger calfs and have a hard time getting boots to fit, give these ones a try!"

"I bought the grey riding boot. In a size 9.5. I usually wear a ten. The 9.5 fit perfect. The fit was great. I had plenty of extra room in these boot. My calf is about a 15. I was so dissapointed as the color of the grey boot. These boots are not really a grey but more of a green. The color does not look good with the brown sole. Actually the color of the boots make these boots look very cheap. I was hoping to keep them because of the fit but I just cant live with that color."

Beautiful wide-calf boots
"I received this boot yesterday and I couldn't wait to try it on. I was delighted to find that the boot easily zips over my 16.5" calves and were not tight at all. I absolutely love them."

small feet +wide calves=BAD
"cute boots, great quality. got the last pair in my size 6.5, but will be returning them. i usually get half a size up even with wide calf boots, but given the reviews on the foot part being longer, i just got my normal size. i'm convinced the 7 would have been a tad bit wider in the calf area, and boy do i need it! really had a hard time zipping them up with my massive calves. i thought about keeping them, but they really would have cut off circulation. maybe they would have stretched if i wore them for awhile in the house. thought about exchanging them for a 7, but the foot part is already big. they are really lovely though. too bad for me :("

Amazing!!
"I LOVE these boots!
I have large calves and have always had such a hard time finding attractive boots that would zip past my ankle. I've browsed pretty much every single shoe website before finding a few pairs on DSW. I received this pair a few minutes ago and couldn't wait to try them on. They zipped! They fit! They're beautiful.
Notes:
-While the calf is wide, the foot part is not particularly wide. I have a normal width foot and these fit perfectly.
-The grey is more of a grey-green. It's a beautiful color and the suede looks high quality (two friends thought they were Ralph Lauren.)
-I am 5'6 and these hit about 2" under the knee."

Cute, but too wide!
"I really liked these and they looked a lot more chic than I expected. However, the wide calves were just super wide! I have pretty wide calves (16.5 in) and my legs were swimming in these, even in jeans. Unfortunately these are going back."

"I love these! Okay, I say that about most of the shoes that I buy, but I really, really love these. Not only are they very comfortable and cute, but the calf area is roomy. I have large calves and was able to zip these with no problem and haven't stretched the stretchy section. I could wear leggings/jeggings without stretching them as well. Great buy. Gotta see what other colors are available."

"It's been a while since I've bought boots this long, mainly because of my wide calves. But these fit and look great! A real pleasant surprise I had not expected. Fits over jeans as well. I love the suede finish and the color, and the sole ensures no slipping."

Good looking boot!
"I agree that the gray is more of a greenish gray...but I still love these boots! The wide calf is definitely wide...which I actually like! It's nice not to have to squeeze my legs into a pair of boots and to actually have some extra room, like the skinny girls get! I ordered a size 10 and the calf circumference measured 19.5 inches. I haven't worn them for an extended period of time yet...but since they are so low, I imagine they will be quite comfortable."

Too wide/wrong color/ defective!
"These "grey" boots are GREEN! Not a greyish green, but completely olive green. Guess I should have realized this when the picture shows them with a brown leather strap across the top. Very misleading description. Also, I have wide calves and these boots were rattling around my legs. As if this wasn't enough, one of the straps at the top of the boot was cut 2 sizes larger than it needed to be. I thought it was just a strange design choice until I put on the mate and the leather was perfectly fitted to the boot. Disappointed, no wonder these are online only."
