Great shoe!
"I purchased these shoes in my attempt to find a pair of wid calf stylish boots. These did the job! Not only are they adorable, but unlike other wide calf boots, these were only extra wide at the calf which is perfect!"

Unfortunate Let Down
"I was very excited about this boot. I usually read all reviews for boots to read about the way the calf fits..true fit and how the leather appears. This boot is a sexy boot online, unfortunately, when it arrive the 'black' was super shiny and was too faux. If that's possible. It appeared the material of a $30 boot opposed to $90. I haven't seen it in brown, I will go IN to the store for that. Otherwise, I will stick with 9West boots as always."

"I love tall boots, but I usually cannot wear them due to my muscular calves. However, I absolutely adored this boot, especially the color, and I wanted to try it since it claims to be wide calf. Here's the breakdown:
Calf Size--
The boot does NOT fit perfectly around my 15/16" calves, but I can zip it all the way, with some tugging and careful zipping, while wearing skinny jeans.If your calves are bigger than 16" or you tend to experience water retention in your legs I wouldn't suggest purchasing this particular boot, as beautiful as it is, because you will not be able to wear it comfortably. The "wide calf" isn't as wide as it claims to be nor is the stretch panel as stretchy as it should be for a "wide calf" boot.

Color-- It's the exact same gorgeous deep brown color as you see in the images!
Comfort-- Very comfortable heel height and the platform is very stable. I haven't worn it for long periods of time yet, though, neither would I suggest wearing any heel for long periods of time (says an avid heel wearer) =]
Construct: I noticed a few glue spots on the sole and some loose threads around the seam of the zipper; nothing that cannot be forgiven or fixed, but somewhat disappointing.
Overall, a very comfortable, versatile boot.
