Better than expected
" When I opened the box, I didn't love the worn leather look of these boots. I was looking for a dressier brown boot and thought about returning these before trying them on. However, I've now worn them a few times and love them as causal, everyday boots. They're comfortable and super cute. "

Pretty Comfortable
" Pretty Comfortable for a boot with a heel. Calf is tight. Difficult to zip up, but I wore them around with my jeans tucked into them for a while to stretch them out and then fit well with my tights. Not as comfortable as other BOC shoes I've bought, but again, it's hard with a heel to be comfortable. "

Nice looking boots but runs narrow
" I love the look of these boots when I bought them online. I am normally a size 7.5, however, these boots run so narrow that I don't even have hope breaking into them. I am exchanging them into size 8 and hope that works!
Also, the back of these boots is shorter than I am used to - much lower below the knee. I am pretty short so it surprised me. "

comfortable but not dressy or classic enough
" Pros:
1. Shockingly comfortable. The foot bed is wide enough, and/or the leather soft enough, so that my toes aren't cramped.
2. Great arch support. I think it's partly due to the positioning of the heel. In any case, the boot arches exactly where my foot does, which is usual in my experience.
Neutral:
1. I'm not sure how much of the leg the boots should cover. They fall several inches below the knee on me, but I have long legs.
Cons (for me):
1. Not classical enough in black. I am looking for classic wardrobe basics that I can return to year after year, and the silver zipper on the black boot, being uncovered, stands out too much.
2. Not dressy enough. The style isn't dressy enough for my needs. "
