No arch support?
"I'm surprised by the positive reviews these shoes have. Under the cushioned contour insole, there is no real arch support in these shoes. My arches and heels hurt just standing in them for a couple of minutes. The rubber toe is also reminiscent of clown shoes."

"I have to say I was actually impressed with these shoes. I bought these for a trip to Havasupai Falls because I needed shoes that I could hike with, climb rocks in, and wear in water up to my waist. I was a little unsure if these would be adequate but I have to say they far exceeded my expectations. I was able to hike over 25 miles in these shoes with 16 of those miles occurring in one day. I had only slight irritation on my feet and that was because I was in and out of sandy water. The next day I put socks on and was totally fine. Plus they actually look pretty cute and are not bulky, so I was able to backpack them in and keep the extra weight off my bag since they are relatively lightweight. Rating these a 5 as they are super comfy and versatile."

My favorite shoe!
"I bought a pair of gray and lime J-41 Tahoe last spring and I'm still wearing them! I can't say enough about this shoe. They are so comfortable, quick to put on and go. Also they dry so quick. My shoes were soaking wet and I sat them on a bench outside and they were dry in around 2hours! I bought them last week in the gray, and last night I picked up the white pair. After my Mom saw mine she really wanted a pair so I bought her the gray ones! Try these shoes I think you will love them too!"

Ruggedly comfortable
"I just love these stylish rugged J-41 Tahoe Sport Slip-Ons. They feel great to wear without socks which is big plus for me. My daughter is so jealous of mine in grey/yellow that I will now have or order her a pair to get through the summer for camping, hanging at the pool and running around with friends. I guess that means they are pretty cool, too."

I own three pairs
"I purchased my first pair of these shoes about a year ago to wear on vacation. They fit well (true-to-size) and are very comfortable. They are very smooth on the inside so there is no chafing, even when worn all day. The soles have very good traction and the shoe itself fits securely on the foot. I just received two more pairs today and I am very pleased with them as well. I have received compliments on the shoes, even from men. They are my shoe of choice for running errands and shopping trips. They are much more flattering on my feet versus a bulky athletic shoe."

Just bought a second pair!
"Bought my first pair while on a recent trip to Oregon. Needed a casual slip on that would be comfortable for walking, yet stylish enough to throw on with a pair of jeans/shorts. They've become my "go to" pair of shoes: lightweight, easy to pack, comfy! I came home and found them at my local DSW in a different color. HAD to buy them! Decided to go up a 1/2 size after wishing I'd done that with my first pair (and didn't). They felt great in the store but after wearing them I realized the size increase would have been more comfortable for extensive wear. I've never had to do that with my other J-41's but just like other closed shoes like Keen's, you might want to consider that 1/2 size jump to reduce chance of toes rubbing."

Love!
"I purchased these shoes last summer and I absolutely love them. Usually I wear a size 8 but I needed an 81/2 and they fit so comfortably you can wear them all day. The way they are made, they hug your foot and make your feet look small (yes, even the 8 1/2). Believe it or not, everytime I wear them I get compliments and several of my friends have them now too."
