won't fit a wide calf
" Not sure why they say that these will fit a 16" calf, I have a 16" calf (two actually) and there was no way that these were going to zip up. It was that familiar feeling of feeling like a whale when boots zip up to about mid calf and that's it.
If you have a "normal" calf these will be fine for you but if you're looking for something for a 15.5 inch and up calf these will probably not work out for you.

will fit your legs!
" You know those super skinny girls whose legs are literally swimming in their boots? I have never identified with them til these boots came around. I have 16 inch calves and there is literally like 2-3 inches extra. I can fit into them in skinny jeans and STILL have room to swim in. Kind of nuts. These are the widest calf boots I've ever tried on.

zipper was busted
" Alright, so I think that these would have been just fine had the zipper actually worked. It was messed up before I even tried one of the boots on (the other one was fine).
The boots did zip up over my 16 inch calves very easily which was nice - these are a good, less expensive, synthetic boot if the zippers work on yours.

Awesome!
" I am beyond thrilled with these! I have a 16 inch calf and these *just barely* zipped up on my bare legs. Then I bit the bullet and tried them over a pair of super skinny jeans - and they zipped! Because they're leather I feel like they'll strech a little bit more too with wear.
The other thing that I like is that they're not huge at the ankles - they look like a normal riding boot for a normal person - they're very comfy in the foot area - true to size - I'm just happy and grateful!
