nice sandal for the summer
" I bought this sandal in black and white about one month ago. I have not yet worn the white sandals yet, but today is my 4th time wearing the black sandals. They are really comfortable and look great with bermuda shorts, skirts and summer dresses. BUT.... this morning the stretchy elastic part of the ankle strap broke this AM. I called DSW and I am going to return for a new pair. None of the other reviewers mentioned this issue, so I am hoping it was just a defect with this particular pair. I do love these sandals and will be very disappointed if this happens with the new pair and/or the white ones that I have not yet worn.

" I had a similar pair of these shoes a few years ago, but wore them until they fell apart. I was thrilled to find these at DSW, which were also on sale! I bought these shoes in red and in navy. The previous reviewer indicated an odor from the shoes, and for this reason she returned them. I wanted to write a review to say that neither pair I purchased had an odor. I am glad I made the purchase. I feel badly for the prior reviewer because these shoes are not only very stylist, they are also very comfortable. I wore them for the first time when I hosted a baby shower at my house. I was on my feet the entire day. I had no problems, pain or blisters, as one would expect from new shoes. Hopefully the odor eminating from the pair purchased by the last reviewed was due to a packaging defect or something else. I'm sorry she couldn't keep her shoes.

stylish but poor quality
" I've bought areosole shoes in the past and found the materials to be of high quality. These boots however are an exception to that statement. Online they look very stylish and give the impression of a solid rubber wedge. This is not the case. The wedge is cheap plastic (not slip resistant at all). In addition, the inside of the boot leg is also a cheap plastic. I love shopping on line for the convenience, but if I had an opportuntiy to try on these boots prior to purchasing, i would not have bought them. This is no reflection on DSW, but a problem with the manufacturer, who in the recent past, has decided to use much cheaper materials to construct their shoes. Too bad because they are really stylish boots.

rain boots
" After searching for months for the perfect rain boots, I found this brand/style on-line @ DSW's website. I read the reviews posted by other customers who advised that these boots were great, but ran big and suggested ordereing one size smaller than my regular size. I took this advice, and was pleasantly surprised when the boots arrived and were a perfect fit. I typically do not take the time to write a review, but in this instance, where the reviews previously posted lead to success in finding the perfect boots, I felt it neceesary to say thanks to those who do take the time to review such items and promise to do the same in the future!
