really wide.
" I'm normally 8-8.5, ordered an 8. The length fit but these seem really wide. The right shoe is also way looser than the left - I know it's not my feet, I don't have this problem with any other shoes.
Good materials, I think quality control failed on my specific pair...May have to wear them with thick socks.

Lovely shoes, one minor problem

" These shoes are great; I'm normally an 8 or 8.5 (more often 8) and the 8s fit perfectly. I have skinny feet so the ball of my foot slid around a bit when I walked in these.
It's hard to tell in the pictures (I thought so anyway) but the heel is gold, not silver. I checked before I bought ;)
My only complaint is the strap beneath the main ankle strap. It's more like two flaps and they peek out from beneath the main strap. It's difficult to explain; see the pic. You'll have to tuck them back in place.
Other than that though, great quality and a beautiful shoe.

Who needs sandals in Alaska? Me, apparently
" Beautiful. I'm normally between 8 and 8.5 (more often an 8) and the 8 fits well. I thought they ran slightly wide, but I have very narrow feet.
The heel strap fits loosely, doesn't "grab" my heel at all. The leather doesn't seem of great quality either, but at this price I wasn't disappointed.

Beautiful.
" These are beautiful. I vacillated for an embarrassingly long time trying to decide between cognac and black, I decided to just get both.
I'm normally between 8 and 8.5 and the 8s fit perfectly. Any shorter and they would have been too tight. SO pleased they fit.
They definitely smelled funny when I opened the box. But processing leather is a chemical-y process so I'll chalk it up to that.
