love these boots

" I got these boots on sale, and they are a great deal. I'm a dancer, I dance barefoot, and I spend as much time barefoot in my daily life as I can. I never wear shoes or boots with heels, preferring my feet to be as free and grounded as possible. The Romiro has a simple sneaker sole/foot bed, which means no heel and minimal internal support. Just your foot flat on the ground. For people accustomed to internally structured shoes, this might not work, but my feet love the feeling. The inner side zipper makes these easy to get on and off, but the laces on the front are real, so the styling doesn't look cheap. These are flattering with skinny jeans/leggings, and also with skirts and bare legs, or you can rock some adorable knee socks, and they are fitted enough around the mid-calf that they can fit under bootcut jeans, although the coolest part of the boot is then hidden and that kind of defeats the purpose. Also, they are VEGAN! which is a requirement for me as well. I paid attention to the other reviews which said this boot ran small, and I agree. I normally wear a size 8, but I ordered an 8.5, and they fit perfectly, too tight with super heavy thick socks, but fine with a double layer of thin wool socks for winter. The boots are comfortably loose and bendy around the ankle, but I'm not sure they'd be great for distance walking. Overall, I'm very pleased. "
