Comfortable but...
" These shoes are very comfortable but they squeaked when I walked due to the footbed material. It's a cushy perforated material and every time I took a step, "squeak"! The strap in between the big toe and second toe is very comfortable and the traction was great as well. There is a Velcro strap that can be adjusted for a more snug fit. Had to return due to the noise.

Wanted them to work
" I wanted these shoes to work as the reviews all said how comfortable they are but sadly, for me, they did not. There was a hard spot where the sole and mesh meet near the big toe and every time I walked it rubbed. Additionally, these shoes slipped off the back of my foot and I was thinking a blister would probably form there. Seemed well made though and would be great for hiking. Not for me, but they seem to work for a lot of other reviewers.
