Perfect gym shoes
" I was having a hard time choosing shoes based off of reviews. None of the reviews quite specified what I was looking for. Many of them gave good reviews for running or zumba, or were sport specific. I don't do any of those things. I kept thinking, wouldn't it be awesome, if someone did classes like I did & ranked it based on that? So here's the review for that.
I purchased these shoes because I do spin, kickboxing, and high aerobic classes (think jumping jacks, high knees, burpies, and just a bunch of jumping in general). In my kickboxing & high aerobic class I was getting cramps in my arches from being on my toes so much continually bouncing.
Spin: Not so awesome. They're a bit bulky to fit well into the spin pedals.
Kick boxing & high aerobic classes: AMAZING! These, plus a pair of Spenco insoles have made all the difference. No more arch cramps! I also have wide feet, and they aren't tight at all, but they do hold my foot firmly & give me great support. These shoes run 1/2 a size small, just like any new balance shoe, so order 1/2 size up. I wear a 6 1/2 & always order 7 in new balance. "

Inconsistent sizing, but comfy

" I couldn't tell based on reviews what size I should get for this. So...I ordered both colors in both 6 1/2 & a 7...and then even a 7 1/2 for the tan for a friend. I tried on all 5 shoes and found them to be really inconsistent. The 6 1/2 & 7 on the tan color were both really uncomfortable & rubbed my feet where the elastic met, so that ruled out the tan color for me. The 6 1/2 beige color worked, but because of the elastic started rubbing quite quickly. The 7 is the one I kept for the tan because of the elastic being more comfortable. I'm NEVER a 7 in any other shoe, but these work for me in a 7 because of the elastic. They were only loose enough in a 7 to be comfortable. The 7 1/2 was really comfy with the elastic for me, and my friend didn't end up wanting them, but I was afraid if the elastic got worn it may just fall right off of me.
All of that aside, I LOVE these shoes & have worn them just about every day since receiving them. I'm taking off one star for inconsistent sizing because the 6 1/2 & 7 in tan were not the same as the 6 1/2 & 7 in beige, and also because my true size rubbed my feet. "

Warm and cute!
" I bought these in the black in a size 6. I normally wear a 6 1/2, but these were big even in the 6. Very roomy. They are very comfortable and snuggly, but the bottoms are pretty hard, no support. I don't need a lot of support in my shoes, so that was not a big deal for me. I got used to it pretty quickly. I love these shoes! I consider them my socially acceptable to wear outside slippers.

Incredibly narrow
" I tried these on in the store...or rather kind of tried them on. They were so narrow I could not even get my feet into the front strap! I do have wide feet, but not so wide that they should have not been able to even get through the front at all. I think these are for people with incredibly narrow feet. I think they're super fun and look even better in person than online, but if you can't get your foot into the shoe, what's the point?

Awesome for Fall
" I purchased these in the cognac color. The brown is beautiful! I love the buckle across the side. The bottom of the shoe is slightly padded, and the heel is gradual so it doesn't feel very high.
These aren't wide enough to wear a thick or even average sock in them, the sock has to be pretty thin. I wear a 6 1/2 usually, and I would say this is pretty true to size. Overall cute bootie with a comfortable fit. I told my husband this is an all day heel, and I don't find too many that are for me. "

Pretty comfy
" I bought these at my local store in a 6 1/2. These were a bit long, but wide enough for my wide feet. I loved them, and bonus, I got them really cheap, only a fraction of the price they were online. I wore them walking around downtown with my husband for about an hour or so. The front scuffed up really quickly, but I drag my feet. The heel dug in a little after awhile which wasn't so great, but I hardly felt I was wearing a heel the whole time.
Sadly, this was the only time I got to wear these shoes. My dog, who has never chewed a shoe before, thought these looked delicious, and they are destroyed. I'm not willing to pay full price for these, but I enjoyed them for the one night they lasted. "

Adorable
" I normally wear a 6 1/2, and I saw the reviews on here that you need to order 1/2 size smaller. Sadly they did not have this size in 1/2 size smaller on here. I decided to risk it and maybe, just maybe they would fit. Sadly, they do not. They're definitely too big. I had to take them back, but they are absolutely even more adorable in person. I wore them around my house for a little bit, hoping I could at least keep them on, and they seemed as though they would be comfortable since the heel isn't really that big. I only rated these a 4 because the sizing is way off. Other than that, I think they're wonderful.

Superior boot
" I ordered these & a pair of Minnetonka boots which were $30 more expensive than these, to compare & choose which to keep. I chose these.
I normally wear a 6 1/2, but ordered a 6 in both. The 6 in these was still quite roomy for me, and I also have pretty wide feet. I recommend ordering 1/2 size down instead of up if you have to choose.
I had a pair of Bearpaw boots the last 2 years in a row, and I live in Iowa, so they are worn day in and day out from about September through May. My last pair took me through 2 years quite nicely.
When comparing this pair & the Minnetonka boots these were my reaons for keeping these: 1.) The seams look better held together, 2.) The fur on the inside looks & feels like it will last better & not come out as easily, 3.)The soles were harder like rubber as opposed to the foamy feeling cheap lightweight soles of the others. These overall seemed the sturdier & longer lasting boot, as I mentioned, living in Iowa, these boots will be tested!
I took the advise of the people rating the Minnetonka boot & sprayed this down with some water protector, so I hope this will help protect the outside from the massive amounts of snow I plan on trudging through with them. "

These are great!

I have very short toes, so typically my toes do not "peep" in peep toes. These however, had a wide enough opening in the peep toe that my toes did "peep."
I have wide feet, but these were not too narrow at all. They were just right. I'm hoping the size 6 won't be too narrow either. "

Super sassy, but painful
" These are really a very sassy shoe, and they look great, but they rub my ankle like crazy! They're definitely a shoe to wear when you know you'll be sitting a lot, and even then, I would bring a back up pair of flats.
