Just the right amount of edge
" I bought these booties in black and, with the silver buckles and tiny studs on the straps, they are just the right mix of "everyday" and "edgy". I'm a size 8, and they fit perfectly with a medium weight sock. The opening is perfect if you want to tuck your skinny jeans, but not so wide you can't wear a boot leg pant.

Very nice casual western-style boot
" I normally do not buy shoes constructed with man-made materials, as I love leather products. However, I decided to make an exception with these since I wanted a pair of purple cowboy boots to match a long skirt. For the great price, I am not disappointed. I'd describe the shade as dark lavender, with a slightly darker toe. They have nice stitching with small stud accents. The calf width is wider than I'd like (my calf measures 14") but the boot doesn't "flop" around when I walk. Due to limited size availability I had to order an 8 1/2, which is a half size larger than what I normally wear, so I wore a medium thickness sock and inserted a gel insole, both made the boot perfect. I'd only wear these in cooler weather anyway, so this quick fix was perfect. Otherwise, I'd say they run true to size.
The reason for four stars is that the toe is more rounded than I prefer, and they are man-made materials. Though overall, I feel they are a great purchase and I will get a lot of wear out of them this winter in Northwest Indiana.

Nice alternative to real leather
" While shopping for a new cross-body in tan or brown, I realized how much I love real leather bags; I've spoiled myself. But this time, I just couldn't find something I loved that didn't cost a bundle. However, when I saw this bag in the store it appeared to meet all my requirements, so I tried it. The tan bag is the perfect color for year round use with all outfits, and the perfect size for my needs. Despite the size, the material is flexible enough to confirm to your body if you don't stuff it. Something I like in a cross-body, as I don't like it to stick out too much. Also, some reviews state that the bag's strap isn't adjustable, but it is. When I found it on the rack, the clip that clips to the metal loop on the bag was pulled through the loop and clipped to the strap itself (on both sides) making the bag shorter to use as a shoulder bag. As for the studs, they appear to be punched through the "leather" and not just glued on. I picked at them really hard before buying the bag to be sure they wouldn't start falling off. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I do love the luxury of real leather. However, this bag will see a lot of use from me.

Edgy, stylish boot
" I was looking for a brown boot with a low heel and rubber sole to wear with jeans in the Indiana winter weather. This boot fits the bill. However, it can definitely be worn with a cute skirt, too. The leather does have a sheen to it, so if you're looking for a more distressed look, this is not for you. Also, if you're going to wear it in colder weather, I recommend a heavier sock, as the shoe part is not lined and my feet got a little cold wearing them in 30-degree weather. On that note, I usually wear a size 8, which is what i ordered. The heel and toe box fit well, and there is a little extra length in the toe, allowing for a heavier sock. It's a 5-star boot for its looks, but I'm giving it 4 stars because of the lack of warmth (easily remedied) and the fact that the tongue is not fully attached, only by the top laces.
