Beautiful Teal
" This is a lovely classic flat with updated pin-tuck on the top. Looks well-made with quality materials. Unfortunately for me, the shoe was a little long and wide, so my foot stepped right out of them. Too bad: they are perfect for about half my wardrobe!

Just my style!
" I like to wear things that reflect my creative personality, but I am nearing 50. It's hard to find shoes and clothes I like that aren't over the top. These shoes are perfect! The two-color design and tasteful stitching make a unique statement without overpowering the artsy dresses I wear them with. The fit is perfect. I'm so pleased!

Contemporary Chic
" This shoe is stylish and elegant. The color is rich and deep. It appears to be well-made. Sadly, it is slightly to wide for me so my feet slide forward and the shoe gaps in the back. They are otherwise comfortable.

Casual Elegance
" I love this shoe! Has a snug fit. My feet are hugged in place by the supple leather and soft elastic around the top. Has a cushioned insole. I love the deep pewter color. The bronze color is sprayed on over taupe leather, giving it depth and texture. I'm keeping both pairs!

Classy Shoe
" Classy and glassy! Beautiful shiny patent shoe is very close to the color it appears to be on my screen, but too much on the green side of teal that it doesn't work with my clothes. This shoe has a lovely shape and a sharp heel. I had a narrow foot as a kid and am probably on the narrow side of a medium width, which would account for why my foot slid forward and hit the toe, leaving a Minnie Mouse gap at the heel. So sorry this didn't work.

Beauty on the Outside
" These shoes are lovely and the silk has rich color and texture, but Wow! are they uncomfortable. They fit well in length and width, but it feels like wearing wooden shoes. All stiffness, no give. Of course, my feet are nearing 50-years of use. Your mileage may vary.

" This boot exudes quality, from the realistic-looking faux leather to the style details. The narrow opening, wrap-around straps and the shaft material that overlaps the shoe upper all contribute to making the foot appear smaller. I wear a size 10 and have relatively thin lower calves and ankles, so other ankle boots have looked like cinder blocks on my feet--but not these! The boot is a little bit too roomy and my heels slip, but a thin cushion insole took care of that. Love them!

Quality & Comfort
" This is stylish and sporty Mary Jane is technically a "comfort" shoe, but you'd never know it from the outside. The upper looks and feels like real leather. The organic curves of tasteful top-stitching and the carved-heel sole give the shoe a more feminine look than most comfort shoes. The real gift is the insole, which feels like a gel/memory foam combo cloud. My feet are on the narrow side of medium width, and the long side of size ten. They fit me perfectly. Highly recommended!

A Disappointment
" I have been searching for a cork wedge sandal for months. I make beaded jewelry, so I thought I had found my dream shoe. In the photo, they appear to be exactly what I was looking for. In person, they disappoint. If you look at the close up of the shoe from either side, you'll see the side of the cork sole atop the wood wedge heel. However, on the shoes I received (size 10), the cork is covered on the sides by the same low-quality vinyl as the straps. The beadwork is beautiful, tasteful and appears to be secure. Unfortunately, the underlying vinyl was warped and creased and was very uncomfortable, scratching the top of my foot. I realize that this may be specific to the pair of shoes I received, which did not have any paper supports to preserve the shape of the shoe. The third strike was the lack of any padding under the ball of the foot, which receives the bulk of the shock in any shoe with elevated heels. On the plus side, the shoe does flex under the ball of the foot unlike other wood-soled shoes that feel like you are walking on, well, blocks of wood. I'm going to see if I can find these locally. Overall, I do like the shoe. Maybe I'll be lucky and find a pair still in it's original wrapping and without the vinyl side bands.

Loose Around the Ankles
" My favorite pair of flat sandals is from B. O. C. so I had high hopes for these lovelies. Sadly, this style didn't work for me. My feet, which are on the narrow side of medium, came to the edge of the sole at the widest part and my big toe met the front of the sole. My usual trouble with sandals is that the straps around the ankle are too big, so when I buckle them enough to keep my feet in the shoe, the straps don't lay flat and the shoes hang off my feet at the heel. The Acacia sandal was no exception. For me, the structure is too insubstantial--few straps and thin at that-- for me to feel confident that my foot would stay in the shoe. I ordered them in the green, which is beautiful--like lime green, but a slightly darker and more subtle shade.

Long and Narrow
" Bare Traps makes great comfy shoes, but this style didn't work for me. My feet, which are on the narrow side of medium, hung over the sole at the widest part. However, the sole was a good 1/2" longer than my big toe. My usual trouble with sandals is that the straps around the ankle are too big, so when I buckle them enough to keep my feet in the shoe, the straps don't lay flat. The Darley sandal was no exception. Still, the shoe is well made and comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone with a long, narrow foot. If you wear a narrow shoe, you may have good luck with these.

NOT FLEXIBLE!!!
" Remember making stilts out of coffee cans when you were a kid? Well, that's what these shoes feel like. I expected a cork sole to be flexible, but it's a thin cork veneer over a chunk of wood. Really. I was sooo disappointed too, because are beautiful to look at--exactly what I was looking for! The sizing is also off. I wear 10-1/2 athletic shoe and a 10 in regular shoes. These 10s were much too long. My foot barely stayed in the borders of the 9-1/2. They get zero stars for comfort, four stars for style.
