After waiting a day to order these booties, my usual size (8) sold out. I couldn't find much info about this shoe online, but I noticed in reviews people kept saying that DL boots in general run large. I decided to go ahead with the 7.5, and it's true -- they run at least half a size large. I even have plenty of room for heavy winter socks.

I just got them, but so far they do seem very comfortable. They're not quite slip-on, but they are quick to lace up and go.

I've never owned Dirty Laundry shoes before, but my first impression is that they don't seem to be very high quality. But I'm okay with it in this case because 1) these booties are so unique and 2) the mottled pattern of the tweed should hide a lot of wear and tear (unlike, for example, cheap faux leather). "
