Great shoe; red too dark
" I bought this shoe because I wanted a plain, moderate-heeled pump in a bright red color. The fit is true to size, the style and overall look are perfect, and it felt like they'd be fine to wear all day at the office. But I was disappointed that the red, which looks like a pretty bright red in the picture, is somewhat dark in person. I was hoping for more of a firetruck/cherry tomato/candy apple red, but it is more of a crimson/cardinal/dark red (not purplish, just dark). Bottom line, if bright red color isn't an important criterion for you, get this shoe.

Wrong color
" These shoes would be great if they were the color I wanted. The color I chose was called "silver" but the picture looks more like a warm gold. Another customer uploaded a pic of their shoes and they actually looked silver in that pic, so I hoped that the DSW pic was wrong. I got it backwards. They're definitely gold like the DSW pic, not silver like the color name. Great shoe if you want the color that is pictured!

Appears to have men's sizing
" This is a great shoe, but as another reviewer pointed out, the sizing is way off. I ordered a 1/2 size up because reviewers on another site said the shoe ran short, not long, but DSW must have a different batch or something. The shoe went over an inch past the end of my toe.
I ordered a 9.5, and the size label on the shoe says US 9.5/EU 42.5, but EU 42.5 actually equates to a US women's 12.5! It also equates to a US men's 9.5, so I guess the shoes they are sending out are actually men's or were given men's sizing labels.
I'd advise the ladies to either try this on in the store, or convert your regular women's size to EU, then find the Tretorn men's size chart and convert from EU to US men's. If I hadn't already looked all this up trying to figure out what happened, I probably wouldn't bother at all.

Another great cutout wedge
" This shoe is a tiny bit short, like other shoes I've gotten from Italian Shoemakers, but otherwise perfect! The wood is lacquered or something so it is super shiny. They're really easy to walk in, though I haven't had a chance to find out of the hard wooden sole will be comfortable all day. If you're between sizes or haven't bought this brand before, I'd recommend ordering a half size up.

So sexy!
" I haven't gotten to wear these yet, but they look so awesome on. They seem to be pretty comfortable for the type of shoe, but I'm not sure how they'll feel after a day at the office; they may end up being strictly date shoes. I felt like a million bucks when I put them on though!

Great spring wedges
" I got these in "multi brights" and the colors are even more beautiful in person. The cushioning on the sole feels awesome. They seem to be just a tiny bit short, which I have found to be true for every pair of shoes I've gotten from Italian Shoemakers. With this shoe though, it may be partly because of the toe shape; the way it curves over makes my big toe stick out on the side a little (not off the front). If you've never bought this brand before or if you have long toes, I'd recommend ordering a half size up.

Great overall; blue multi = blue/green/beige/black
" I love how the shoe looks and feels (it's easy to walk in, too). I couldn't tell from the picture that the blue multi has some green in it; if I had, I may have bought the Geller Azalea or Apple shoes instead. My only other complaint is that the strap sits a little funny around the back of my heel, but it's not really noticeable unless you're really close, and it's not uncomfortable, so I'm okay with it.

Colorful comfort
" I couldn't believe how comfortable this wedge was when I put it on. I mainly bought it for the multi-colored straps (reminds me of a pair of sandals I had as a kid), but the cushioning and the shape of the shoe make it so comfortable and easy to walk in. I feel like I could go for a run in these. Well, maybe a jog. ;) And the colors are just as pretty as they are in the picture.

Cute and comfy; not good for narrow calves
" I love the look of these boots and they were really comfortable, but my calves are on the narrow side (about 13.5" at the widest point) so there was a huge gap at the top. If you don't mind a gap or if you have average or slightly wide calves, these are awesome! The product info says 14.5" calf circumference, but that is several inches down from the opening; they are more like 16" at the opening (they get wider at the top, even though it looks like they get narrower in the picture).

" I wanted a casual brown thong sandal that was a bit nicer than a flip-flop but not too dressy, and this is perfect. It's really comfortable and looks great. Sizing is right on.

Great spring shoe
" It hasn't really been warm enough to wear these yet, but just trying them and walking around the house, they look great and are really comfortable. I got them in green, and it doesn't look quite as bright as it does in the picture, but it's still a really nice color. The sizing was perfect, which I was really happy about since I had an issue with Italian Shoemakers sizing once before.

Finally, a nice boot that fits my narrow calves!
" I don't like to wear dress boots that have a big gap at the top of the calf, and I had a lot of trouble finding a pair that fit right. My calf is about 13.5" at the widest point and this boot fit in a size 9, with just a small gap at the top. There is enough room and stretch to wear them over skinny jeans, but they look great with a sweater dress too (what I mainly bought them for). They were comfy when I wore them all day at work, and even when I wore them for a long night out with the girls.

Cute and comfy!
" My friend got these in black, which I thought was cute, but then I saw that they came in red and I had to buy them. They are even cuter in person! They're really comfortable too. I wore them with no socks the first time and got a blister on my left heel (not sure why only on the left heel...) but they're fine with knee-highs. They have a little bit of cushioning and a nice sole which make them more comfy than a lot of flats I've tried. One of my new favorites in my closet!
