ankle area is too wide
" I have to admit I have small ankles, but the back part of the shoe didn't even touch my foot! The glitter is also a little cheaper looking than I had hoped.

Hit at an awkward spot on the knee
" I am 5'3" and was excited to get tall, potentially over the knee boots. These hit me right at the knee, and the leather is very stiff, so it made these weird indentations into my knee - NOT flattering. The leather is also very stiff, which can be a good or bad thing. I liked it because it made the ankle area not look scrunchy, and gave the shoe more structure. too bad they were a weird height.

wish they would have fit...
" I have very small ankles and thought that these looked like they wouldn't gape/pool around my ankles like other booties - I was wrong. They were still too big in the "mouth" of the shoe - I wish DSW indicated the circumference of this area. Anyway, the shoe is also made of a neoprene material that is comfortable and easy to keep clean I would guess. Lastly, I bought these shoes in particular because of the reasonable heel height based on the platform. Walking around, they are very comfortable. Just wish they would have fit my ankles!

too wide
" I have to preface this by saying I have slightly flatter feet, but this shoe hardly touched the top of my foot because it was so wide. I also have tiny ankles and the ankle strap was way too large. I ordered in black and I do agree that the leather looks a bit on the cheap side, although the shoe is comfortable because of the wedge design.

look like they might break
" The material that makes the straps looks very cheap - it feels like it is going to break. I thought I might wear these for going out, but the metallic finish and all of the straps make this a little too out of my comfort zone. They seemed comfortable, but the style just wasn't working for me.
