Something's not right...
" I have two pairs of similar booties by White Mountain which I LOVE, ordered these in blue and though they are just as cute they are no where near as comfortable. As other reviewers mentioned it appears as though the seaming detail on the sides is what is causing the discomfort. Overall they are really narrow and feel tight right out of the box. One shoe (the left) feels much tighter than the right. The blue is just so stinking cute that it's upsetting to have to send back, but just not sure they would ever be comfortable. Please rethink this shoe and bring it back in the comfortable version in more colors!

Cute, but dangerous!
" I fell in love with these shoes immediately, in the store they felt comfortable and I was so happy thinking they would go with a multitude of outfits...first time out I slipped and fell in a restaurant. Since then I've tripped or fell nearly every time I've worn them, The sole on the shoe seems to be the issue, it is slippery on non-carpeted floors and tends to stick on the floors where I work, causing me to trip and nearly fall. Cute, but dangerous!

Rocker Chic!
" I love these booties! Perfect heel height for comfort, sole is non-slip for winter walking, and the leather is perfect. Beyond the comfort though is the real reason I love these booties...they are just so stinking cute! Love the buckles (though it's somewhat of a hassle to get on and off), I think these will look great with skirts, dresses, and pants. I like shoes that are a little edgy and to me these fit the bill.

Too tight - won't zip!
" Cute shoes, however they are way too tight and the zipper won't zip and I don't consider myself as having wide feet. Too bad, another return. I purchased my usual 6.5, the fit is perfect otherwise.

Cheap!
" Why or why do I think I can purchase a pair of boots online? The search is as bad as trying to find a pair of jeans that fit! First of all I ordered my regular size (6.5) in the wide calf and they did not come close to fitting - the foot is too narrow and I couldn't get the boot zipped. But even if they had fit they would be on the return truck back as they are super cheap looking. The pleather boot material seems to just be glued to the thin rubber sole - very unattractive and I can't image it would sustain any amount of wear. Save your time and money and resist the urge to purchase these boots!

Very Chic!
" I love these boots - they are so cute! I had to order a half-size up (size 7) and my usual size was sold out - the fit is perfect with a pair of socks. I love the style - very rocker like. The only things I did not like were that the black is not black at all, more of a grey color, received scuffed up (I like perfection), and the belt keeps falling down (not a big deal, but it looks better further up). I can live with grey (I have lots of black boots), I don't want to risk missing out by exchanging for a perfect pair, just wish the belt was adjustable. All in all - a great pair of boots!

Just won't work for me...
" I've tried twice now to get these shoes to fit, but no luck. The 6.5 is way too tight and short and the 7 wide is too wide and way too long. So I give up! They don't seem as though they would be comfortable in the least bit, however they are very sexy and make my short legs look oh so long!

So cute!
" I love these shoes - they are so cute! I'm usually a size 6.5, however I had to size up to a 7 for these shoes. I'm concerned about the durability as the satin bow is sewn on, but I'll save them for special occasions, not daily wear. They are extremely uncomfortable for extended lengths of time, but oh so cute!

Disappointed!
" I love boots and every fall I go the same struggle of trying to find a boot that is stylish and fits my large calfs. From the reviews I thought this might be the one. It does fit my calfs, however the foot is so narrow that I was in extreme pain just trying the boot on. Perhaps sizing up would help, however this are lacking in the style department with the funky heel. I might have kept them if they were comfortable - so the search for the perfect pair continues.

Crazy about Coconuts!
" This is my second pair of boots from Matisse, they are both so cute and comfortable! I have large calfs and these fit (though there is no extra room). I ordered my usual 6.5 and the fit is perfect. The only downside to these boots (hence the 4 star rating) is the smell - they smell very musty and the leather cuff that holds the buckles doesn't seem to be attached correctly - if allowed to do what it wants, the cuff comes half-way down the heel, can't believe this was intentional in design. May try another pair to see if they have the same issue.

Rockin Boots!
" I love the style of these boots - they are so cute! The zipper is difficult to unzip at times, however I just received them and am hoping this will improve with time. First day out and they are somewhat comfortable, again I think this will improve over time. Purchased my usual 6.5 and the fit is great!

" I love these shoes, they make my short legs look fantastic! Only problem is that they hurt like crazy. I ordered my regular 6.5 and the shoes were too tight and a bit too short. I tried to exchange them in the store for a larger size - but they did not carry this shoe. If you have narrow feet this might work for you.
