"I took a chance and wore this sandal straight out of the box for 3 days straight and loved it. I did experience some "new-shoe" rubbing when I had to walk an extra 30 minutes on a humid summer day, but I discovered that a bit of vaseline & also loosening the bow tie (you can still walk fine when it's very loose) worked! On the 2nd day I wore it, someone even stopped me on the street to ask me where I got it because it looked so cute and comfortable!"
"This was the first shoe I bought when I started regularly running (3-6 miles per day, about 3-4 times per week, on pavement) after going to a running store and having my gait analyzed. I am an overpronator, like cushioning, and also recently started mid-foot/forefood running. Although I still occasionally have injured toenails from the repetitive trauma of running, these shoes have worked really well for me and I just bought 2 more pairs! I usually wear an 8.5M but ended up getting these in 9 because I needed the width (they are a little long, though)."

A comfortable, low-profile slip-on boot
"This is a good boot for the price: comfortable, waterproof (although I never wore it in the rain), warm, and has good traction. The main reason I returned it is that it was a little taller than I wanted - I'm 5'2", and it hit me at the widest point of my calf (which are slightly wide), making them look bigger than they are. At this point, I may also invest more $ to buy a boot with a removable/washable liner. I wear 8.5 but got a 9 to allow for thicker socks, and the size was perfect."

A new boot fan
"I was looking for a unique boot that was also versatile, comfortable, and wouldn't get ruined in the rain. This looked like it (I love the buttons), based on the rave reviews, and I ordered it in grey in my normal size (8.5). When I got it, it looked great and just as I expected, but ran a half-size large. The whole calf area, especially, was too large (and my calves are big) and the ruffles splayed out to the side, making my calves look really wide. I am returning them for a half-size smaller, hoping it will fit better and look right. As I was walking back from the post office, I actually ran into a girl wearing the same boots in black, and she said they were her most comfortable pair of boots ever!"

Not enough cushioning
"The fit is fine, but the sole is very thin and has no arch support or cushioning at all. I think you would need to add a cushioned insole to make this shoe comfortable for everyday use -- especially if you live in a walking city like New York!"
