straps are a different color than wedge! :(
" Even though I really like the way these shoes look, I am returning them. Yes, they are comfortable, and I love the stripes on the wedge. I ordered the "ivory" pair thinking they would be ivory both on the straps and on the wedge. The elastic straps are definitely ivory, but, the stripes on the wedge are white. While I'm sure no one else would really notice, I notice! Bummed. If I purchased them again (which I most likely won't...I found a couple of other wedges I like better), I would get the black ones.

cute sassy shoes
" I can't wait to wear these to a holiday party! I bought them in the silver color and they're really cute! I do have another pair of Steve Madden's that are glittery, the glitter gets everywhere! Not the case with these! They run true to size...I haven't worn them long enough to tell if they're really comfy or not! I'm hoping they will be! :) The heel and platform are nice and high..I'm not afraid! I'm glad the heel is a little thicker...should offer a little more stability than stiletto's!

not for the wide-calf girl!
" I'm so bummed...I ordered these in olive, and the color is GREAT! I was hoping they would be wide enough to fit over my athletic calves. I had read the other reviews that said the "foot" part of the shoe was narrow, but, I thought I would be okay with that. The actual shoe of the boot fits just fine, but, they are pretty snug on the calves. I'm going to take them to a shoe place to see if they can be stretched a little in order to fit! They really are beautiful boots, so I'm hoping it will work! Stay tuned!

Finally a boot that REALLY fits wide calves!
" I saw these on line and reading the reviews I was skeptical! Whenever I've seen reviews that say they fit wide calves, they never do! So, I found these in a store near me and tried them on! I fell in love instantly! I always have trouble finding boots that fit over my calves and these slid right on with no major pulling, sucking in or pinching my skin in the zippers! WOOHOO! I will agree with some of the other reviews that they are actually a bit bigger than I had expected...again, once bitten, twice shy when reading reviews! However, the buckle up top can be adjusted, so I'm just going to move that over a bit to keep them up better!
If you have trouble finding tall boots to fit over your wide calves, these are the ones to try! Can't wait to wear them this fall and winter! I bought them in black to replace some other boots I had worn out...I may have to order them in the other colors too!

still not sure about these!
" Although I do love the style, and for once, I finally found some riding boots that fit over my athletic calves, I'm not 100% sold on these! Since I paid full price for them, I expected some really great quality boots. I was so excited to get them delivered! I took them out of the box and noticed that on both boots where they were folded, the black leather is faded. I could probably use some black shoe polish to fix this, but, for $170, why should I have to? I'm thinking these will have to go back! So bummed, since it's really tough to find cute boots for wide calves. The other thing I noticed is the shoe part itself is really long and a bit wide. I would still order your "normal" size, just wear a sock to add extra bulk to your feet!

awesome color!
" the color of these shoes is fantastic! they're not THE most comfortable shoes i've ever worn, but, they were fine. i'm going to try them with some insoles to see if it helps next time!
