"As with many European shoes, translating the sizes to the appropriate corresponding US size is an inexact science. In my personal experience, 40 does not equal size 10, it's more like a 9.5. This was a perfect example. I ordered a 10 (the European size was not stated) and sure enough, when I got the "10" it was a 40 and way too short. I re-ordered in the 11 (41) and it's a perfect fit. If you're a 10, go with size 11 in this brand and I think you will find the fit is much better. The shoe feels a little insubstantial so I'm curious to see how it holds up. I do love a leather sole, so it at least it has that going for it. Overall, it's definitely a nice, expensive looking shoe."
