Minimal break-in needed
" I've never owned Crocs before and was hesitant to try these, but I was looking for a slightly dressy black casual shoe for work. I'm usually an 8.5, but was pleasantly surprised that a size 8 fit me perfectly. A friend claimed that they can't be Crocs because they're just too cute, but they certainly are Crocs -- even down to the little hole in the rubber on the side of the shoe. My first wear was unbelievably comfortable, but that's due in some part to the hosiery I was wearing. Without hosiery, my second wear left me with tiny blisters after some rubbing on my toes and heel, but I imagine that'll go away with time. Great pair of go-to shoes!

Wasn't expecting to like these
" I was strolling the clearance section at my local DSW and tried these on just to see how they'd look. I don't usually go for suede shoes since I always worry they'll get too dirty. I was pleasantly surprised with how they look and ended my ongoing search for knee-high brown boots. I'm also happy to see that the price was comparable to online (but I got the size I need, which is no longer available on the website). I do most of my shopping online, but sometimes it pays to shop in-store!

Zipper placement is cute but not practical
" I had high hopes in buying these online. Unfortunately, the zipper is just too cumbersome being on the back of the calf, and it also made my achilles look bent in at a weird angle. It doesn't help that the footbed is pretty uncomfortable. The material was OK, though obviously synthetic.

Simple but simply not a good fit
" I liked the simple shoe design and thought it'd become a regular staple in my shoe collection. I bought them online and had to return them because they were just too wide and surprisingly uncomfortable given how low the heel is.

ready for soccer season!
" I've never owned soccer cleats before and am looking forward to soccer season to start so I can debut these! They felt a little wider than I'm used to in regular athletic shoes, but I don't think it'll be a problem. Depending on the thickness of the socks you plan to wear, you may want to size up. I decided to stick with my pair because I figure a larger size would be awkwardly wide for me. Otherwise, these seem great so far!

Should've ordered true size
" Based on other reviews, I ordered a half size up to make sure these booties would fit me. When I got them, however, they seemed true to size, and therefore too big for me. I really do like them a whole lot for the look, comfort, height, quality, so I've ordered my regular size and hope that they fit well when I get them. I just wish a nearby store had them in stock so I wouldn't have to wait to try the right size on!
The only con I can see so far is that the zippers can be kind of stubborn, but perhaps they just need to be broken in a bit.

Probably best for bigger and older guys
" These were intended as a gift but I had to return them because they were too big even though I ordered a size smaller than he normally wears. At the store, he tried on an even smaller size but they were still way too wide and the arches weren't well aligned for his feet.
He did like the look, but we ended up getting him a different pair of Clarks that actually did fit well.

Better in the photo
" I ordered the nude color and liked how they looked. Unfortunately, I'll be returning these since they're uncomfortable. Plus, they just look too big and make an awkward looking gap between my toes and the shoe. Maybe I just have flat feet, but these seem like they'd only look good on ladies with thicker feet or toes since the shoe bulges upward.

Will return
" I really loved these boots and thought they were comfortable and great looking. The only problem is that I never wore them outside my apartment. I tried them on and walked around a bit only to find that the material immediately started showing signs of wear! It creased a bit and even turned a light white above the toe box. It's a shame, too, because I've been looking for boots like this and will have to return them.

Too fake looking
" I have a different pair of Bare Traps knee-high boots in grey that I really love (though after 1 1/2 years, the plastic heel is starting to look off), so I had high hopes in finding a pair of brown knee-high boots from the same brand. When they arrived, the shaft of the boot just looked awful. It's discolored in different parts and just looks and feels tacky. I didn't actually even try them on because they're just unacceptably bad looking. I'll be returning them in the store!
