Narrow calves delight
" I have been on a perpetual search for a tall boot to fit my large feet and narrow calves. I wear a size 8 1/2 to 9 and for some reason in tall boots, the calf circumference increases with shoe size. In most boots I end up looking like the Gorton fisherman, but not in these beauties. I ordered a size 8/12 and while they are bit narrow for my wide foot, the calves fit like a glove (my calves are about 13 1/2 inches around at the widest part). I also have narrow ankles and this boot does, too. The only complaint is that the sole is VERY thick, heavy and rigid, almost as if it were made out of wood (it's not). So I don't think they will break in well and they are not very comfortable, but it's worth it to have beautiful boots that hug my calves.
