" I got these boots in the olive suede. I absolutely love it. Such a great neutral! But the green makes it more interesting than brown or tan. Goes so great with a denim shirt dress I have and I'm sure many other things.
I wish it was a full sipper instead of just the ankle. It would make it easier to wear them with pants. I have very shapely calves so they are snug.
They also come up a little higher than I expected, but I'm short so it could be that my legs aren't long enough. They sit right under my knee.
Haven't worn then around much so I can't speak to the comfort, but I'm sure the stacked heel is going to make them wearable.

" I really love these sandals. The first pair I ordered had a small defect -- the leather on the footbed on one shoe was really loose and I was afraid it would tear. I exchanged for another pair and it was fine.

i have struggled with these boots
" They are exactly what I was looking for: a REAL leather pair of comfortable dressy sexy boots without a lot buckles or zippers or various accessories. I love this brand. I have half a dozen pairs of Audrey Brooke flats and they are like buttah. So I was interested in finding some boots by the same brand.
Based on some other reviews, I ordered a half size up 6 1/2 to give me some room for socks. Mistake. Way too big. I normally wear a 6 but the 6 1/2 almost feels like a full size too big.
Also, because the zipper is only on the ankle you have to pull the boot up. I admit that I often have snug fitting boots at first, but I like that. I zip them and the leather molds perfectly to fit my leg after a wear. But I couldn't event get these up. I got out a measuring tape and I guess I should have ordered the "wide" fit, but I'm hesitant because:
1) I've never had to buy wide fit boots before. The standard fit has typically been just what I wanted. I am worried that it may be too roomy and I like a close fit.

And 2) on the principal that as women we stop letting the arbitrary measurements that companies impose on us let us feel less than perfect. Seriously "wide" fit?! Consider this an open letter to shoe companies (and clothing companies in general) -- had you called this athletic or curvy or shapely, I wouldn't be arguing with you. *My issue is with the word.* I've discussed this with many women over the past few days. Many who made faces when I asked if they''d ever tried "wide" fit boots and explained why I was asking. Some pulled off their size 8 over the knee pull on boots for me to try. Not only id they come up, but I could put my whole arm in the shaft. And many who told me the bad feelings they had when having to buy "wide" "wide wide" or "extra wide" boots. And some who told me that they had simply given up on fabulous warm sexy cute boots altogether! This is horrible.
Shapely calved women of the world -- embrace your beautiful legs. But don't let the shoe industry make you give up on boots.
Anyway, one way or another, this pair has to go back. Whether I buy the same pair in another size/fit or another style is debatable.

" I did think these boots were cute and fairly comfortable. I like the boldness of the decorative zipper, but I worry that it could get caught on things. I got them for a fair price -- i don't like to pay a lot for non-leather. Eventually, I did return these because the material was kind of cheap. I bumped one of the toes pretty lightly walking up the stairs when I tried them on and it was ruined. That didn't make me feel confident in the quality, but I only paid like $35 for them so I was willing to let it go. Still undecided, I tried them on again and just couldn't get over the ankles. They were very slouchy and bulky. I found another pair a couple of weeks later that I liked better anyway for only a few dollars more.

highly irregular
" I love these shoes, but I've had to exchange them twice already because of irregularities. The first pair had a problem with the heel liner. It was sticking out and you could see it over the outside of the shoe. On the second pair, the right shoe was about a half size smaller than the left (and, no, guy-who-works-at-the-store it's not my foot, don't you think all my shoes would fit improperly if that were the case? and the shoes fit properly on the first pair even though the liner was messed up.) I tried wearing them thinking maybe my footwas swollen or something. Uncomfortable. Then a couple of weeks later I tried them again, and the right show was so tight it was painful to wear. Wearing them was totally comfortable on the left foot.
Waiting for the 3rd pair to arrive. We'll see...
