Steel toe shoe and too small
" I'm between an 8.5M 90% and a 9M 10% due to the right foot being a tad larger. I have thin ankles too. The shoe has a comfortable padding, but the front side of the toe feels like steel toe shoes. I think SS designs it that way to avoid the shoe losing it's shape. I bought a size 9 and with thin socks the shoe is tight. Without socks, the right foot is tight and I tried the shoes at the end of the day when my foot was swollen. This means this shoe runs 1 size smaller. This brand is so hard to fit. Fortunately, the 3 belts have velcro so it can mold to my thin ankles. It has an awesome design. The height is perfect to walk on. I have a feeling I'lll have to return them.

Quality sandal
" I'm between an 8.5M and a 9M due to my right foot being slightly longer than my left and the 8.5M fit perfectly. I do not have a wide foot so these shoes will be a staple in my summer wardrobe every day attire. The shoe is quality made and there is no room for imperfection. It is not cushioned, but due to the width and leather I don't think it's an issue. The height is perfect. Even a person who is very heavy will not find these shoes uncomfortable due to the height. The platform makes them feel like a shoe that is only one inch high. This is my 2nd gunmetal shoe and I just heard DSW just started to carry them.

Definitely run small
" I'm an 8.5M 90% of the time and 9M 10% of the time. I got the 8.5M and they are too short. Width wise a little wide for my foot. So if you are in between sizes definitely go for the larger size and if you have a wide foot these are for you. Because of the toe opening being a little wide for my toes, they were slipping out of the tip of the sandal. I really like them and I love the heel. So I'm going to attempt to get the 9s to see if they fit better. I bought the beige ones.

You never know with this Brand
" I'm usually an 8.5M 90% of the time and 9M 10% of the time due to my right foot being a tad longer. Well, I was happy I decided for 9s because this shoe runs small. I'm even thinking about changing them to a 9.5M, but I believe they would be too big. So, I'll keep them since I believe they may stretch out due to the material. They have a lot of cushion which is a plus, and comfort wise very good. They are beautiful and they can go with all my caprice.

In between sizes go for the lower size
" Love love these shoes and they are so comfortable.I'm between an 8.5 and 9 medium and I got the 8.5. Perfect width, and enough space to wiggle my feet inside plus able to wear socks with them. If I could afford it, I would buy all the colors, but I better stick with the black ones and control myself. This is my 3rd spring step shoe.

Left ok right not so good
" I'm usually an 8 1/2 B - 90% of the time and sometimes a 9 due to my right foot being a tad larger than my left. Since they didn't have any at the store to try on, I decided to order the 8 1/2 grey due to limited availability. I tried them on with socks and to be expected a little tight. Without socks my left has plenty of room to wiggle, but my right not so good. My toe hits exactly at the tip of the shoe and the bottom of my toes are hitting the crease of the base causing to rub. (I tried them on at the end of day after a big workout when my foot is at its largest) So I ordered half socks to see if that will help in the rubbing. I really don't want to return them because they are so cute. I'm hoping these half socks will help. If you have my problem go for a 1/2 size larger.

Greek Goddess
" I just received the mustard gladiator sandals and Adrienne Vittadini did it again. I can never go wrong with Adrienne's shoes. I tried them on this morning and they are big enough for when my foot swells by the end of the day. I have small ankles and I'm between a size 8.5 and 9M and I got the 8.5M. The ankle area is big for me, but I don't care since they are very comfortable and the leather is soft. I would buy the other colors, but since I know gladiator sandal styles won't last that long I'll only purchase these. I wish they had them in 5.5 to get them for my best friend. It's very hard to find yellow/mustard sandals.

Stunning
" Love these shoes, bought the blue and cognac color. Planning to get the white and black as soon as a good deal comes my way. It's a classic sandal style, the height is perfect and you can dress it up or down. It runs small so get a size higher up.

Overboard
" These shoes have the highest support I have ever experienced in a sandal or regular shoe. If you have high arches, these are the shoes for you. I got the blue and they look great with jeans and caprice. They are so comfortable you can wear them all day without your foot hurting. DSW price can't be beat. This shoe runs for $119-$139 in all stores. Now I want all the colors.
