must be the color
" Very comfy, true to size, loved the back GG. Problem: I bought brick red in 2 different gucci shoes this one and the nameplate pump---the colors looked a little different, but that was not the problem. The problem was both of these shoes had areas on the shoe where the dye did not take and white showed through---also the back stitching on the heel of this one was sloppy looking. Very disappointing, loved the shoe. I thought of buying a replacement----but as two different style shoes in this color in gucci had the same problem I decided against it. I would be afraid that the dye was just on the very surface and if you got a small scuff it would show stark white like this ones defect. Returned to store and employees were great quick return, they suggesting I call DSW to let them know of the problem so they could address the quality issue. Great customer service.

not up to gucci standards
" I bought this in two colors. The brick red actually had some white patches where the leather appeared to be scraped and showed white --maybe the dye didn't take correctly? The purple had no white patches. The shoe is comfortable and a 6 1/2 fit as my other gucci shoes. Very easy to walk in considering heel---I needed purple to go with a Jimmy Choo purple solar hobo bag and a coat that I sometimes wear. I don't want to spend a lot on a purple shoe and the price was right----but the leather does not look like the quality of most gucci leathers and the heel is just plastic no leather wrap. The sole is really slippery--you will need to buy the rough peel and stick bottoms or you will go flying on carpet. Just an ok shoe----If another top designer had a slim high heel in purple, I would have paid a little more and gone for that. I still might return this----it just doesn't look like a high quality leather or designer even with the nameplate. I know it is Gucci, but it reminds me of a canal street special in new york. It is a DSW exclusive maybe that is influencing me, but I don't think so.

sexy yet sensible
" Basic pump---almond toe is a great compromise, I love round toe as pointy toe kills me, but pointy is prettier and it seems is the incoming style. The brown is a rich dark color--but in no way looks black. The shoe is comfortable and runs true to size. The platform offsets the heel height so the heel is very comfortable. True to size gucci, choo etc. I take a 6 1/2 and I did in this shoe also

eye catching
" Loved the look of shoe online and in person. The 6 1/2 fit which is my normal size. Comfortable, nice heel height. The picture, to me, looks like this shoe is black, w/ light pink and red. When you see it in person, the description is correct---no red. It is black, light pink, and dark fuscia ( dark pink). I do not wear alot of pink so this will probably be going back----also the back of the shoe slaps my foot when I walk and the sound is annoying.

you need to see it on
" Looked at this shoe and thought might be cute. When you put it on it is fabulous! The brown on the side slims the foot. The heal height is very comfortable. The slingback stays up---even though it is not uncomfortabley tight-which I find amazing!-you cannot adjust the sling there is no buckle and no elastic. Most designers I take a 6 1/2 and I did in this shoe---( Prada closed toe I always need to size up 1/2 size) The red is a not orangey, brownish, or pinky-- it is a true red.

sexy pump
" Love this pump. Considering heel height comfortable. Color is a dark true red---not orangey or brownish. In most designers I order a 6 1/2, this shoe as most of Prada's pumps I needed the 7. Note: In the Prada flame sandal and flame cutout slingback the 6 1/2 fits me perfect.
