Cutesy clutch
" I bought this clutch with black trim to go with the Tommy Hilfiger Women's Becki Wedge Sandal in black with white polka dots. The clutch completes the sassy pin-up girl look I was going for and goes perfectly with the woven espadrille wedge heels. Plan to travel light, ladies. But you can carry your phone, lipstick, key and a small coin purse or teeny tiny wallet. It's a great summertime purse and for me is just the right size for those times when I don't want a big ol' purse on my arm to steal the scene away from a cute dress or sassy sandals.

Pinup girl style
" The emotional reaction I had to these shoes caught me quite by surprise, but there I was... crying in DSW and clutching a polka dot wedge sandal against my chest. I realized that sassy little shoe reminded me of the life I had when I was a sexy, skinny, beautiful 20-something. Now in my early 40s, I'd long ago left that girl-on-the-go lifestyle behind. I still feel so silly when I think about my tearful episode in the shoe store, but it really has been a wake-up call for me... because these shoes have inspired me to create opportunities to wear them. Oh the places we go! The heads we turn! The stories we have to tell!

Not my mama's comfy shoes
" These sandals look kind of frumpy in the pictures, so I never would have bought them if I hadn't seen them in the store. They're cute and comfortable, and they're so lightweight it's even better than going barefoot. I bought them in tan and love them with jeans, crops and long, flowing skirts.
