Back for Seconds
" I LOVE them. Very nice quality for the price, and I can't believe they are now on sale. They were such a good deal to begin with! I got the cognac color which is a gorgeous burnt orange color. Absolutely stunning! I even got my nails done to match the color :) Back for the black ones today. Such an amazing value, and the suede is so soft. I also appreciate how the shafts aren't huge and baggy around my legs! And they come up almost to the knee which I really like. Get them!

Great Slingbacks
" Just received these today, took them out and tried them on immediately. I was a bit concerned when I first saw them because the suede appeared to have scuffs, but as soon as I brushed my hand over them, the marks disappeared. We aren't talking about super high-quality suede here, but I think that the price reflects that. I really like these shoes. They have more padding than I thought they would have. They are a bit tight in the toes/peep toe area, but since they are leather I think they will stretch a bit. They run a tiny bit small IMO. I am a pretty true 9.5, which is what I ordered, but I think maybe a 10 would have been more comfy, but at the same time, the heel straps would probably be too loose (these are not adjustable with a buckle, just elastic). Overall, very happy about these shoes (finally, pumps that are NOT 5"+ stripper heels!). And they make my feet look smaller, and retro-classy. Yay!

Too narrow in the toe area!
" I really really wanted to keep these. They have soft leather uppers and shiny platforms/heels which are fun. Also, they looked good on my 9.5 feet. Not huge and clunky like many platforms do, but sleek and stylish and classic and exactly what I was looking for. The problem is that I have a narrow heel and a slightly wider ball of my foot/toe area (I usually wear medium-width shoes without problem). The toe box in these shoes runs too narrow for me. It looked great, but I knew that they would just kill my toes. I was thinking that maybe because they are leather they would stretch to accommodate my stupid "ring finger" toe that is a bit long and gets scrunched. But as I tried to walk in them, my heels started slipping out, and I realized that these just were not going to work for me. Darn! If you have normal heels and a skinny toe area, go for it! Also, I want to say that in Steve Maddens I usually get a 10 because they tend to run small, but, after reading the reviews, I decided to go with my true size (9.5) and they were the proper size length-wise.
