size up
" I just got these in the mail and they are super cute, really light weight, and totally comfortable. I have bunions and generally terrible feet and I can't wear heels for longer than 5 minutes before I'm basically unable to walk--these do not give me those problems! And they're easy to walk in.
I had to exchange them for a half size up because I definitely couldn't wear socks with them. I'm always an 8, I never size up when reviews tell me to, and I wish I had this time so I could be wearing these right now instead of waiting for my 8.5s to come.

Just as expected
" These shoes are beautiful and the fit is great, as is the quality of the suede. The color is a little darker than I imagined but it is exactly as pictured now that I think of it (I got them in taupe). I can't wait to wear these forever. I can tell they're going to take a little bit of breaking in like all leather boots do, but right now at first wear they are pretty comfortable.

" I saw these shoes in the store and I had to have them. I did not want to take them off my feet. They look incredibly fierce. Its January and I'm in the city, but I figure I can wear them with black tights and they'll just look like boots. I do NOT wear heels and I'm attempting to become a real adult by starting with wedges, and these are just beyond my comfort level in terms of height, but they are easy to walk in and will help me build confidence so someday I can wear real heels.
They are very comfortable. My feet hurt after about 5 minutes of wearing anything that is not a slip-on tennis shoe, but these are totally gentle on my feet without compromising ferocity. The material is soft and does not rub your feet the wrong way or give you blisters. I got my regular size 8, and they are not too big, though they aren't tight around the ankle as other reviewers suggest they should be to truly fit. It doesn't bother me.
My sole complaint is that the zipper is a little difficult to zip, but it should become easier with use.
