not quite..
" I ordered these shoes in taupe, size 5.5. I am usually a 5.5 in a heeled shoe and these fit perfectly and were super cute! Color was nice too. The shoe was comfy and my foot wasn't slipping out of it like some other shoes with the split front. But I gave it only three stars because the quality of the leather wasn't what I was expecting, stiffer and waxier feeling than I anticipated (this might soften with time). The stitching around the edges looked a little sloppy and the seam around the split front was not clean enough for me :( wanted to really love this shoe. But for the price maybe those small details can be overlooked by someone else.

check your shoes
" ordered these and when they arrived the inside stamp said "manmade upper". I bought these shoes because the item page says "reptile embossed leather upper". embossed leather is still real leather. exchanged and got a new pair that was exactly the same, "manmade upper". had to return, not as advertised. fit ok though, slightly long and slightly narrow. If they were real leather they might have stretched to fit right.

nice flip flops
" I ordered a size 6, black color. I'm usually a 5.5-6 for sandal type shoes and these fit perfectly! The sole of the flip flop is just the right size for my foot - but I thought it seemed a little bit smaller than average. If you're in between sizes, go bigger rather than smaller. The straps were comfy and weren't pulling on my skin like some new flip slops do, they were comfortable right form the start. The criss-cross strap style looks nicer than the traditional thong-style strap and didn't cause any pain in between my toes. When i first put the shoes on I thought the straps would be too loose to keep the flip flop from falling off but they stayed put after walking around my apartment for a while. I wasn't even trying to "keep the shoe on" with my toes. The sole is sturdy but very flexible rubber material. I'm not sure how slippery they will be if they get wet. This is my first pair of flip flops that I paid more than $10 for (usually go for the cheap old navy ones) and I'm very satisfied so far! It's still winter/spring here in NYS but I'm looking forward to wearing them once it's not freezing!

wish they were smaller
" These shoes are really cute and comfy right out of the box. Or... as comfy as any shoe could get being a half size too big. I believe they are true to size, normally I can fit a 5.5 or 6 in a heeled shoe and took my chance at a 6 with this one. Unfortunately I should have gone with a 5.5 which isn't available. Have to return since they slip off the backs of my feet, but if I had the right size they'd be perfect!

cute shoes
" I really like these shoes but should have gotten my original size - 6. I ordered a 5.5 because some of the reviews said this shoe runs big. The 5.5 is perfect if I wear them with my small black socks, but there is no way I can wear a thicker sock with these shoes.. which I was hoping for. The suede is nice (i got the navy color) but at the tips of the toes and the backs of the heels are not soft suede and looks like the "suede-ness" is rubbing off? I'm not sure if this can actually happen but that's what it looks like. Anyway - still cute and pretty comfy that I don't want to return for a bigger size, will be keeping them! And YES - the zipper in the back is stitched at the sides of the zipper so that it stays open. If you have a thread ripper for sewing you can easily remove this stitching but I bought the shoe because I like the open look. Perfect spring/fall shoe in good weather, not a good boot for snow and slush.

" I loved the unique style of this shoe and was a little apprehensive when buying them because of the first review stating they were too long... and I should have listened. I'm not sure what's going on with this shoe because another reviewer says they are true to size but I definitely did not have that experience. Maybe there is extreme variability when it comes to this shoe and I got the bad end. I ordered a 5.5 and when I got the shoe, it was marked as a 5.5 but it was WAY too long (if I had to guess it must have been an 8!). The toe came out over an inch past where it should have been, almost to the point that I could lift my toes out of the shoe, it was so weird. But the shoe wasn't wide for the length so if you go a couple sizes up, you'd have too narrow of a shoe.
Really unfortunate because I was so excited for this shoe and it disappointed me more than I could have expected. I'd never received a shoe so long for the marked size... returned immediately.

" so... I wasn't sure how to rate the shortness/longness of this shoe because I put them on and the toe was too far out and looked like I was wearing shoes that were too big for me, but then the heel was too far in and looked like I was wearing shoes that were too small. The thong came right up in between my toes so I had them on as much as they would go on. Maybe my foot isn't the right shape for BCBG... although I've never had such an awkward fit from any other shoe I've tried on. Sadly, had to return..

cute but....
" These shoes were cute when I took them out of the box but they weren't that flattering on my feet. I got them in patent blush and the color was what I was expecting. For me, they just seemed a little too flimsy in the back and the strapping at the toe looked kind of loose and unorganized. Had to return :(

" I really liked how this show fit and looked but they sent me the wrong color (I ordered Taupe but they sent me Beige). I tried to return for the correct color but by the time I got this shoe they sold out of my size in the color I wanted. Too bad because I really liked them. Returning for another pair entirely.

" I love these booties, cute and comfortable! although the bottom of the shoe provides no traction, so I had to put a rubber sticky (you can find them at any shoe store) on the bottom so I would stop slipping around
