" I followed the reviews ("runs 1/2 size big") and had the exact opposite problem! I am a 7.5-8 in flats usually and went with the 8 -- it's probably a half to a whole size too big on me, causing gapping on the sides and space in the toe and vamp. That said, these are pretty adorable. The bone color is a slightly distressed but good quality leather, and they are nice enough that I can get away with them at my heels-and-pencil-skirts workplace. I have a shallow foot (high arch, high instep) and tend to require more support from shoes. I'll probably stick an insole in these since they are very light. I'm going to try a half size down and hope for the best.

Weird sizing
" I didn't really know how to rate the sizing since the boot fit my foot - size 8, average width, high arch and instep (shallow) foot -- perfectly, but there was something really strange about the ankle. There was so much room in there, I honestly could have fit my fist inside. Then the calf fit perfectly too, so I ended up with so much bunched-up leather around the ankle, it looked ridiculous. The black leather is very beautiful, but stiff, so had this strange, almost rubbery look about it, especially on the bunched-up ankle part. Maybe this would soften with wear. I'm 5'8"ish and the boot hit about an inch or two below my knee, so not really the most flattering point of my leg. Sadly I had to return.

Adorable, but not for me.
" I really liked these shoes, but ended up having to return them. Here's what I liked:
-Great materials
-Comfortable and stable
-Looking great with skinny pants tucked into the boot.

Here's what didn't work:
-The shaft of the boot was far too wide. It fit my actual foot perfectly, but my ankles were literally swimming in them. I could not have worn them any other way than with pants tucked in. I looked absurd in skirts and even leggings.
-Something about the construction (and this is truly nitpicky) was off -- along the back seam of the boot, little glue stains were visible at each of the "wrinkles". Maybe this is only visible on the black, or maybe I got a defective pair. "

I love these shoes.
" If you're considering the brighter colors (yellow or green) they are super vibrant and beautiful! I ended up getting the taupe as they are more versatile. The satin fabric has a luxurious sheen and the heel is stable without looking clunky.
The only thing that is a little funny is that the vamp is narrow yet deep -- I have a high insole but shallow feet, and even though I can't move my toes side to side, I can wiggle them them up and down while wearing these. A gel pad for the ball of the foot helps to take a little of the room out, and make these even more comfortable. "

Cute!
" Runs about a half size to a full size too big. The rounded toe is very comfortable, and has a sturdier insole/sole than flats usually do so you feel pretty supported. I have a hard time with flats rubbing on my achilles in the back but these don't seem to do that (yet! Fingers crossed). The red is true to color as pictured.

Very cute!
" I love the flat sandal look but not on me, so I have been looking for a short-heeled strappy wedge that could give the illusion of a flat. This is not exactly that -- but it is still a very cute shoe and I'm definitely keeping them! The sole is surprisingly comfortable given that the wedge is wood, and it's really a beautifully made shoe with quality materials. I have a high instep and a high arch, so the shoe is a little tight across the top of the foot but it actually feels supportive rather than uncomfortable. Runs slightly small in all dimensions.

A nice shoe
" This shoe is pretty comfortable as a walking shoe -- without even giving them break-in time I wore them for an 12-hour day of traveling and then straight into a several mile walk. Really comfortable with no blister problems. I wish there was more arch support, but this is a common problem of mine (high arches) and easily fixable.
My only complaint is that the opposite side of the shoe doesn't have the same purple design as the outer, more visible side. It's a little ugly, but barely anyone sees that side anyway. Cute colors -- I've already had a compliment on them.

Beautiful
" The only negative thing I can say about this shoe is that it lacks arch support (I have high arches), but I think I can fix that with a clear insert. Otherwise it is a gorgeous show for summer with beautiful, flattering lines. The ankle straps hit low on the ankle which seems to elongate the leg even more than the high-ish heel already does. It is true to size.
I love Seychelles -- they make beautiful, good quality shoes with interesting designs. This is no exception.

Great flat
" Bought this in the store when I was shopping with two other friends. We all loved them so much that we each bought a pair. I have a really hard time wearing flats because I get blisters easily and find that the usually short vamp causes pain across my metatarsals. These, however, are very comfortable and the vamp is long enough without looking dumpy. FYI, there is no arch support so beware if that's important to you. The inside is very soft and warm but not too thick. You can't see what my friend called the "fleecy goodness" from the outside so they're suitable to wear to work. Great for the price.
