" I was super excited when I saw these boots & I ordered them immediately. The color was just like the picture, but I didn't realize that it was a pull-on when I ordered them. I have 14" calves and it fit me perfectly. However, the ankle was a lot more roomy than my other riding boots (probably because it's a slide on) which allowed my heel to slide up when I walked around. I was going to keep them, but as I continued to examine them I did not like the play in the leather around my ankle nor did I like the stitching on the side (made it look cheap). I felt that for the price, it should have a more finished look. I returned them because they didn't look as good as some of the less expensive boots that I passed up. I have never experienced this with DSW boots. Maybe this was just a fluke. "
