Surprisingly uncomfortable
" I found the shoe looked true to screen and was a very cute amalgam of deck shoe, loafer, and slip-on sneaker, all of which seem to be on trend these days. The color is a dark denim, which would have gone with many things. I also liked that the sole was an off-white/cream rather than screaming white (although those who wear white pants might be into the latter).
Unfortunately, the poor fit is forcing me send both pairs back. My feet run on the wide side, and I have a high-ish instep. But length-wise, I'm closer to a 7.5 than an 8. To be safe, I ordered these in 8 W and 8.5 W, and the 8 W felt both too narrow at the widest part of my feet and also constricting on the top of my foot. The 8.5 W, while feeling better, width-wise, would have slipped off my heels.
Moreover, when walking around in the shoes, I felt like I was pronating! I am a very light pronator to begin with, but I could actually feel my feet/ankles angling inward. It was the strangest sensation. And totally uncomfortable. Which was such a bummer b/c the shoes are very cute. I've never worn a more uncomfortable flat shoe, and that includes pairs of flats that I've tried on that had the barest amount of sole. None of those exacerbated my pronation the way these did. What's even worse, the insole appeared to have a little raised area that looked like arch support. But maybe all of it was made with foam? Because support it did not!
If your feet run wide and/ or you pronate, I'd steer clear of these. "

Sparkly & comfy!
" These add a fun bit of sparkle to any outfit and can be dressed somewhat up. I say "somewhat" because let's be honest -- these are a glorified flip flop. But I love the pewter color, which is a bit edgier than the black, and the comfort totally makes the decrease in style points worth it. I'm a true 8, but I usually have to wear a 9 (sometimes an 8.5) because my feet run on the wide side. I had no toe overhang on this one, nor was there extra room at the heel on my size 9s, so I'd say these might run somewhat wide and a bit short. The price was kind of high for flip flops, but the shoes feel pretty sturdy -- much sturdier than, say, Havaianas, which are almost as expensive as these! "
