"These shoes definitely win with the compliments. Everywhere I go, my feet are undoubtable noticed. I usually wear a 7.5, rarely a 7, so I went with the 7.5. Perfect fit in length. I have wide feet, so the boots were a pain the first day I wore them (for about 3 hours), but I assume they would be pretty comfortable for narrow feet.
They are cheaply made and designed. I don't think the people who previously reviewed these boots wore them very long before giving positive feedback. The glitter doesn't come off if you rub your fingers over the sides, but it DOES come off where the ankle crinkles, which is inevitable if you walk in them at all. I've had these boots for a month now, and have worn them about 15 days, walking across campus, and sometimes through snow. They have good grip, but the ankle slips because the heel/ankle area isn't very well defined and the materials are man-made. The sole is already falling apart on the edges.
I love the look of these shoes, and love that the they are such a statement piece, but I like shoes that at least last a season without falling apart. I suppose they are worth the sale price. If I could do it all over, I'd splurge on shoes that last."

"Wore these booties for the first time today — ALL day. In snow. Lots of snow. These don't have good traction, but my feet didn't get wet, miraculously. No discomfort. I'm used to wearing expensive, comfortable shoes, so I was a bit nervous about these, being under $100. The heel is just right: tall enough to lengthen the look of your legs, but short enough to be on your feet all day. Usually when I step out of heels my big toe joint hurts for an hour or so, but not with these. I have fairly wide feet, which I was nervous about when I first stepped into what seemed to be pretty narrow shoes, but I sinched up the laces and they look great. They definitely appear a little on the cheap side, since they're not real leather and the sole is cheap rubber – but you get what you pay for. The boxy toes are slightly irregular on my pair, with one with a more angular toe, and the other with a slight indention. Nothing noticeable from the "audience". The laces DO tie like normal at the top of the boot, which isn't pictured on DSW. Shipping took a long time, but I'm used to Zappos & Endless/Amazon. I would buy these again through DSW though — I think I have to buy another pair for when I wear these out!!"
