" I've been searching for a tall lace-up boot for a long time. These have a nice partial side zipper so you don't have to unlace them all the way. I normally get an 8.5 or even a 9, but I could've gotten away with an 8 since I had to lace them as tight as they go to keep them from slouching around the ankle. Otherwise, a really fun boot. "
