great purchase, just in time
" I work at a university that is DREADFUL on clearing sidewalks in the wintertime - and my job takes me all around campus pretty regularly. These boots are all-day comfy, keep my feet dry in the slushpuddles that always form near curbs and in crosswalks, and are just that much dressier than full-on hiking boots -- meaning that I can get away with wearing them most days that do not require me to fully suit up. The leather seems to scuff a bit on the toes, but a quick application of leather conditioner (or even hand lotion in a pinch) makes them look good as new!
