"As my title suggests, these ran very long. Even for a pointy toe.
I usually wear an 8.5/9 in pointy toe flats since they tend to scrunch and pinch towards the tip, so I always go a half size - a full size larger than my normal 8/8.5 for flats. I tried these in an 8.5. These were very long and flappy when I put them on. Also, the ankle is very narrow and I could barely zip them up. After I did finally zip them, they were so tight around my ankle that it looked like my leg had a muffin top. I have muscular calves, but my ankles aren't too thick, and this was too tight. These would be much better for someone with much thinner ankles. Too bad, I really loved the look of these. If the ankle fit better, I think an 8 would've been perfect.
I would say if you're going to try them, get your regular pointy toe size and then a half size lower to try as well."
"The first time I actually wore these, I wore them to work and I'm actually a Sales Associate at DSW. These were extremely comfortable to wear all day at work, walking around the store, and I got compliments from my coworkers. I really like these and I'm actually thinking of getting them in Black too. They fit great and the shaft is actually pretty wide, so if you have pretty large calves, I don't doubt that these would fit you. There's plenty of room to wear thick socks, to tuck in your jeans, or even wear those boot cuffs I've seen. Overall, I'm really glad I got these boots. They're adorable!"

Great if you have really tiny, child-like ankles.
"I tried this on in the store after seeing it here on the website, It's an adorable shoe and I wish I could've bought it. The heel is the perfect height, and it has cushion for your feet.
Now to the bad:
I don't have thick ankles, actually I typically have to put ankle strap shoes on the tightest they'll go. With these, I struggled to zip them up, even though I already knew they were too tight, once I zipped them up, it felt extremely tight. Almost like if I kept them on any longer than I had, the circulation would start being cut off. THE ANKLE STRAP IS NOT ADJUSTABLE as it says in the description, and as it looks on the shoe. The strap is sewn on and the holes/buckle is only there for aesthetics (not sure why DV would do that). It has a back heel zipper."

Ouch.
"I wore these in Silver as a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding (she picked them) and they killed our feet. We couldn't wait to throw them off after the pictures and the ceremony. They're long, even with heel liners and insoles. My big toes felt like they were going to fall off from being so numb after standing in them. Granted, they are pretty and the glitter doesn't come off, but for myself and the other bridesmaid, they were the most uncomfortable shoes ever. I got these in an 8 which is my normal size and they were long. I tried the 7.5, but that was too small."

Love it!!!
"I've come to love Madden Girl shoes as they're so comfortable and cute! These are no exception! I also got them a day earlier than I expected which was nice (thanks DSW!). I bought another pair of these in the all patent version. I plan on wearing these to a wedding I'm going to in September. I can't wait. :] They were just slightly large for me (a problem I have with any pair of heels due to my feet sliding forward), they slipped off my heel, but I put some Foot Petals heel liners in them and now they fit great. For anyone else, they fit true to size. I suggest using heel liners if you have the same problem as me. I wear a size 9 in sneakers and a size 8 in flip flops, heels, and flats. Also, when my feet slide forward, they don't pinch or constrict. They're perfect."
