Beauty is pain
" Love the look of the shoe but like the other reviewer I experienced pain from where the textured part of the lining ended & the leather met. There is a hard ridge that bites into the ball of my foot. I managed to wear them to work & struggled through my discomfort for 10 hrs on a tile floor! I did size up 1/2 size but feel sizing up a whole size may position my toes over the ridge instead of the ball of my foot. These do run small. The strap between my toes was a non-issue. If they go on sale I may consider the black pair. It would have to be a really good sale though.

Beautiful shoe but needs quality control
" This gorgeous shoe is sure to bring you compliments. I ordered the black pair & was impressed with the beauty of this shoe. The high platform coupled with a high stiletto still feels like a 4 inch heel. My balance was only thrown off walking through a gravel parking lot (arg!) or when encountering an occasional stone that would make my ankle give sideways. I would recommend grips on the sole because they tend to slide on a tile or wood floor. The toe box is slightly narrow & pinched my pinky toe. All of this will work out in time. The 4 star rating comes from the lining being completely loose on one of the shoes. I noticed this when I took them out of the box before ever trying them on. Where's the quality control? My husband secured it down with some heavy duty adhesive. All said, I'm going back for the purple pair.

Great boot runs true to size
" This was my 1st Paris Hilton purchase. Ordered the dk brown in my true size 7.5. The toe box has enough compression (?) to keep my heel from sliding up while at the same time is long enough to give adequate room for movement of my toes. If your foot is wide, you may experience some discomfort. My feet are boney and I did not have any discomfort. also, I am use to high heels so the heel height was not an issue to me. If you are not accustomed to at least a 3 in heel despite the platform in this boot, you will be uncomfortable. I wore them to work the same day I tried them on. The fur lining is warm but limits this boot to the winter months. There are times I need a boot in the summer months especially when on the motorcycle.This is a minor inconvenice considering what the purpose of this boot is intended for.

Super sexy!
" These run true to size. The heel height is a little lower than what I'm use to, but the style of this shoe more than makes up for it. I did experience my feet sliding down the shoe and tried tightening the ankle straps to accomodate the foot slippage. I will try looking for some type of insert to prevent this. Also the edge of the strap across the toe tends to bite into my big toe. I think this will work itself out with future wears. Overall, this is a great shoe. Absolutely love them.
